The Boys whipped out a can on the Eagles last night. It was such an enjoyable win. After the Eagles have pretty much dominated the Boys over the years, it's great to see the Boys finally sticking it to them again. T.O. had a field day and the offense looked great, other than Romo's one bad throw to Crayton that was picked. The defense is still iffy, but they played well enough to win.

The Pats won to go 9-0, can they finish undefeated and then lose to the Boys in the Super Bowl? I think so... heh.

The Pistons have started the season 3-0 after a nail biter against the Hawks last night. Way to call a timeout Josh, heh.

What's up with you?

QOTD: 2 wins, 1 big loss. The Buffalo Bills climbed back to .500 with a 33-21 win over Cincinnati. Amazing to me; with everyone on IR we find a way to make it to .500. I would've been pleased with a 8-8 record this year with the talent we had alone, but paired with the injuries and it's an under the radar NFL miracle. The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Capitals on Friday night and sit at 8-4-0 and 3rd in the Eastern Conference. A good start, though this road trip has seen us stumble a bit. And finally, the big loss. Boston College took an L against Florida State and tumbled down the rankings. Good run for the Eagles though, still a very successful year at Boston College.

My teams fared pretty well. Browns won an overtime thriller, setting a HUGE game with the Squealers next Sunday. The Cavs split, though they really could've beaten the Suns last night.

Our touch football team won an amazing game on Saturday. It was the playoffs and we had already beaten our opponent in the regular season. We took the lead with about 10 seconds left, but failed to get the conversion. The other team threw a Hail Mary, which one of guys got a hand on, but was somehow caught by the other team in a big pileup for a TD. We sent the game into overtime, thanks to my wife who deflected the opponents' conversion pass. We won the toss in OT (college style rules) and had them go first. We picked off their first pass and then scored the winning touchdown on our possession.
We had to play another game right after that, against a team that had beaten us. However, their regular QB had pneumonia, and we picked off their replacement QB 6 times, winning a 19-0 shutout! I pretty much laid around all day yesterday recovering.

Nope. Semi-final on Saturday, if we win, we play the championship right after. The second team we beat had a first round bye.

QOTD.... a mixed bag.. my Raiders lost (any suprise there?), but the Isles, with their legendary coach behind the bench for one last time, beat the Pens.. pretty neat that Ted Nolan gave Arbour one more game to reach 1500 games coached...

Had a great weekend. My youth football team which I am a asst coach on (12-14 year olds) won our first round playoff game yesterday 36-20. We play next Sunday in the semi-finals against Windsor Locks. They are the 3 seed and we are the 2. Myself and the other coaches will be watching game film tonight on them. We did beat them in the regular season 8-6. Should be a great game on Sunday.

Bulls just can't seem to buy a win. We always start off with the horrible records like this but this seems a little too crazy. Doesn't look like there will be a win for a bit which is kidn of rough. And to top it off, Lakers look good this year. The whole league looks above normal. I can't see teams getting past 65 this year but we'll see. Oh, and though I called it between the Patriots & Colts, I wish the Colts would have won that game. Going to be interesting seeing the playoffs. Bears had a bye. Glad we get to play the Raiders next week though.....hopefully.......

QOTD: From now on I will not be associating myself with the Huskers so on that note.....the Titans won.

QOTD: Pats win a thriller, Celts grab 2 wins, B's lose 2 nail-biters against Ottawa (man does our offense suck), UNH football and hockey both upset Saturday, BC loses.

nearly had a heart attack, but Michigan beat Michigan State.

The Lions are somehow 5-2 and prime to beat the crappy Cardinals next week. I'm just amazed at how they're playing and they *may* be for real. I'm still a Lions fan, so not buying into it quite yet, but I'm really enjoying the ride.

The Wings are apparently 11-2-1, and the Pistons are 3-0, so go them! I'm not really in a hockey or b-ball mood right now, it's too early.

As everyone saw, my boy Tommy Brady won a squeaker in Indy. I still thought it was cheese and that Matt Cassel should have played the 2nd half

Didn't you mean the Sun Devils, Cardinals, Coyotes and Suns, General Arnold?
