Not a good weekend for me, not at all. My stepson took my car out for a spin, late Saturday night and totalled my car. He was driving it without my permission, without a liscense, etc. He's a teenage Superman after all. He fell asleep at the wheel and totalled it. He's fine, but the bills are going to pile up.

Other than that nightmare, the Boys lost to the Pats. For some strange reason, I'm not upset about it. Maybe it's just all the things that happened this weekend, or maybe in the back of my head I had this one marked as a loss from the kickoff. Either way, 5-1 is still tops in the NFC w/ the Pack.

What's up with you?

QOTD - Great sports weekend. Indians split, it's all I could have asked for. Browns destroyed Miami, putting up 40 points agian. And finally, the Buckeyes took care of business and are the #1 team in all 3 major polls. WOOT!

QOTD: Vols won on the road, Sox should be up 2-0, but Gagne pulled a...Gagne, Titans lost and VY got hurt, Colts were off. Could have been worse I guess.

QOTD: Since the Broncos and Niners were both off, I watched the Rockies and am stunned. I still give them no chance against the AL, but 20 of 21 is just amazing! The worries about the Monforts' cheapness in the offseason persist, but until then...go Rox! Makes up for my pathetic fantasy football team.

I give the Rox plenty of chance against the AL, but their issue is going to be if they sweep 'Zona. They could potentially be sitting idle for up to 10 days waiting to play the AL. Their hot streak could really wear off with that long of a layoff.

Wedding was fun, but I'm glad it was the last one of the year.

QOTD: Tribe got the split and the Browns offense keeps rolling. Now if the defense could just stop someone...

I agree about the Rockies and the layoff. Look what happened to the Tigers last year

QOTD: Crappy sports weekend...Illini and Bears both lost. For some reason, I don't really have any interest in the MLB playoffs. I'll tune in and after an inning or two I'll change the channel and watch something else.

Sorry to hear about the car accident Steve. My oldest is 17 and learning how to drive. He can't wait to get his license, but I can.

QOTD: Jets lost again. They are done. Maybe its time to take a look at Clemens?

Sorry to hear about the accident, Steve. At least he's not seriously hurt.

QOTD: UCLA lost to the bye week, and the Seahawks lost to the Saints. Bad sports weekend for me.

Oof. Bad news about the wreck. It's a good thing he wasn't hurt. Now you can throttle him yourself! I think it was Calvin's dad who said "Parenting is wanting to simultaneously hug and choke your kid at the same time". :P

Bad weekend for my teams. The Steelers had a bye (which isn't bad I guess) but the Red Sox lost a game they really needed to win.

And on my weekend, my 360 is finally succumbing to all of the troubles every one else's has. After playing for about 5 minutes or so, the screen flashes, and I lose all video. I can still hear the audio, but no video at all. I turn it off, let it cool down, and start it up again and it does the exact same thing. It won't be long before I get the dreaded RROD and I have to send it away for a month. Now if only I had any PS3 games I wanted to play.

QOTD-----HORRIBLE

D'backs lost on Friday and Sunday to go down 0-3

The Huskers got demolished in one of the worst losses in school history---good thing i was there to see it

Finally, the Titans lost on a FG with 11 secs to go...plus....VY got hurt

I'd really like to forget all about my sports weekend

The Bears loss which I kind of suspected. Ironically, it wasn't as bad cause we had two quick touchdowns. Kind of made me happy that Rex isn't the guy anymore. Chicago won the preseason against Dallas, but it's only a preseason so it doesn't really count. Good knowing the Bulls are getting better with each game. In baseball, I'm still happy the Yankees are elimated. That's all that matters. Oh, and New England is a beast of a team. Basically can't wait until Nov.4. Good weekend overall.

Umm, I would hate to be your stepson right now - glad he's okay though.

QOTD: My fantasy team won despite having 4 starters either injured or on the by week (Boldin, Johnson, Holmes & Addai). I really thought the Raiders had a chance to win the game yesterday, but they couldn't punch it in at the end of the 1st half. And from a gambling perspective, I'm so happy I backed the Pats! Good weekend for me!
