GameSpy has posted previews of the following games:
- Gran Turismo 5: Prologue (PS3)
"Instead of the usual "single-player", "multiplayer", and "options" selections, you'll see a real-time 3D view of your current car set in a backdrop of your choosing (we saw the German town of Nurburg where the famous Nurburgring track is). The top of the screen shows a clock as well as the name of your home city and the temperature at your location. To the left-hand side of the screen is a calendar, this will tell you about upcoming race events that may be sponsored by Sony or car manufacturers. On the bottom is a row of seven icons."
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii)
"That said, we were very curious to see how this bizarre-sounding game was coming along, so we sat down at Sega's booth to watch and play it. As an official Olympics tie-in, the game's settings are based on the official venues of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and will feature a huge amount of events to play for gold medals. The demo we saw, however, contained only five disciplines: the 100 meter, 110 m. hurdles, the triple jump, hammer throw and archery. In the final version of the game, due out before the actual Olympics, we'll have many other sports, including table tennis and swimming."
