Other Stuff...

I can't believe how many professional wrestlers have passed away at such young ages! Jeez. I saw a list on a website that I can't find at this moment, but wow.

Natalie has finally worked up enough courage to dunk herself in a pool, as she did it yesterday. Afterwards, she wouldn't stop doing it, going under every few seconds before throwing up. She was just so happy that she did it, she just kept doing it. Unfortunately, she did it so much she upset her stomach. She can't swim, but does that "pretend swim" where you flap your arms and keep your feet at the bottom of the pool.

What's up with you?
  • QOTD: Which game are you looking forward to purchasing after the football games are released?

Here's the story I think you were talking about Steve:
http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/6964262?MSNHPHMA

I have a feeling this case is going to end up with Congress calling McMahon to testify about steroid use among his wrestlers. Could be uglier than when Selig, McGwire, etc. had to testify.

QOTD: If I get a 360 in the fall, Halo 3 will probably one of my first purchases, along with NBA 2k8. I don't love Halo, but I had a fun group of guys to play Halo 2 with, and I'm sure they'll be getting #3. Hopefully, we'll get some details about NBA 2k8 at E3.

Yup, that was the article, thanks!

Amazing and unbelievable at the same time. Wow.

BTW, I heard Mrs. Elizabeth died a while back as well, wasn't she w/ Macho Man? If so, what happened to her?

Hmmmmm... not much. Been pretty quiet all in all. My wife decided to go back to work full-time for the summer (she was only working 20 hours per week), so we are trying to get our schedules and the kids schedules all in line.

Taking Friday off to go up north with my older Bro to play 18 with my Dad and Uncle. We have a high stakes match in the Fall ("The Shaver Open"... hehe), but we try to go once earlier in the season to talk **** and lay all the ground rules and bets for the Fall event. We're pretty sure we're playing for my Dad's hair this year. If he loses he has to shave his head. Bonus!

This course I am playing Friday has a hole built as a tribute to the island hole at Sawgrass. It's worth the 90 minute drive up there just to play this hole:

I would go through a box of golf balls trying to get on the green on that hole. Then again, I suck at golf.

Are you playing Maple Leaf by chance? That course is about 20 minutes from my house and I use to be in a league there. There are 27 holes and that is from the North 9. Not sure if it is worth the 90 minute drive but it is a very playable course with the older 18 (East and North) being a good ego boost. Not too mention it sounds like a fun family trip so the drive is not a big deal. Make sure you get on the North 9 though as it is a lot better than the other two.

When you get in the club house look at the Hole in 1 board. You will see the name of a certain OS poster that aced the #5 hole on the north 9

I figured you knew Maple Leaf. Yeah, I've played it once before. The 90 minutes is like halfway between my place and my Dad's... so Linwood is the perfect meeting spot.

We're playing 72 holes in 4 days this Fall for our tourny. 18 at Thunder Bay on the way up... then 54 at Wild Bluffs up in the UP. We played 36 at Wild Bluffs last year... it's nice.

I'll make sure I get a picture with the Hole In One board for my scrapbook.

QOTD: FIFA 08

Not much going on here. Had a hockey game last night, we played like crap and lost 6-4. Reactivated my Jumpgate account over the weekend, so been playing that a little. Going to San Diego for 8 days on Friday. Can't wait!

QOTD: Gran Turismo 5 is really all I'm looking forward to right now other than NCAA.

# 14 ZM Punk @ 06/27/07 03:34 PM
QOTD: Will probably be picking up GTA, Mass Effect, Guitar Hero 3, Smackdown vs Raw, plus the two basketball titles by 2k after the football games drop.

# 15 Behindshadows @ 06/27/07 04:11 PM
QOTD - Mass Effect and Bioshock. Can't wait.
