GameInformer has posted an interview with the President of Clap Hanz, Masashi Muramori about his company, their first tennis title, and the future of the Hot Shots universe.
GameInformer: "We were happy to see Hot Shots Tennis get a release date in North America. How has the reception been in Japan so far?"
Masashi Muramori: "I’m very happy to say that it’s been received really well and its popularity has helped the title become the biggest selling PS2 tennis game, with over 700k units sold so far. Even though the sales numbers were very positive, we felt that we could improve some elements for its North American release, so we went back and tweaked some things we were not too happy with… and so far all the feedback we’ve gotten from the press has been both positive and supportive."
