QOTD: Well... PONG showed me how much I would love video games... However, Baseball Stars and TV Sports Football are the two games that really shaped me in the way I still love to play games today.

QOTD - River Raid

When I got my 2600, I played it non-stop. I kept hoping for some grand ending. Other games that I played religously are: H.E.R.O., Doom, Super Mario Brothers 1-3, Karateka, Baseball Stars, Tecmo Bowl, Tecmo Super Bowl, and Lakers vs. Celtics.

Still waiting to hear from the vet about our cat. She seems to be doing fine and there hasn't been any more blood in the litter box, so maybe it was just an isolated thing (fingers crossed).

QOTD: That's a good question. Since the two types of games I play the most are FPS's and sports games, I'd have to say Goldeneye and Tecmo Super Bowl. I had played FPS's before, but not with the awesome multiplayer that Goldeneye had. The detailed rosters and real seasons of TSB was the standard set for all sports games to follow.

QOTD: NFL 2K5 because through 2K league play starting with that game I developed my xbox live friends list. Most of my gaming is now on live with the guys I met through the leagues.

QOTD: While I played Atari 2600 and NES (and their assorted classics), the game that probably locked me in for life was 'Final Fantasy III' (aka FFVI) on SNES. It was one of the best RPG's I ever played, and I'm still stunned that my parents dropped near $80 for that game back in the day on my silly videogame habit (weren't cartridges expensive! ). I promptly put in 50-60 hours and have never looked back since.

What world is the guy from sony living in? In that link about charging for PSN

Quote: " Eric Lempel, director of PlayStation Network operations, has said that the company may one day charge for PSN. He also feels PSN and Xbox Live are currently operating on a roughly level playing field and reveals improvements to the service currently in development."

I don't think PSN is currently operating at Live's level. Maybe in the future if all these features they are working come to light. Sometimes companies blow me away with their PR. I think right now you get what you pay for, Live is good but we pay for it and PSN is free and it should be because there is not enough regulation and options to warrant payment.

QOTD: Tecmo bowl- 1st time I could play a season in a sports game. Which has prob led me to the franchise whore I am now.

QOTD - I had an Atari but it was not until I played Bases Loaded on Nintendo that I was hooked on videogames. I loved the sequal to it also.

QOTD: Super Mario Brothers 3. Still play it quite a bit these days.

QOTD: NHL 93. Played it for years. Wouldn't mind playing it right now if my Genesis worked.

I wonder how the tiltboard will be for the 360. If it's a quality product I'd consider buying it.

Just got a call from the vet. The test came back negative, so I guess the cat's ok. Just have to keep an eye on her and take her in if it happens again.

QOTD: I would definitely have to say RBI baseball. I spent countless number of hours playing with Oakland A's on that game. McGwire, Canseco, and Henderson were beasts on that game.

QOTD:
Super Mario Bros. My dad bought my brother and I an NES and I was off.

Joe Montana Sports Talk Football. I think me and my friend played that game for like 3 years. I actually found my Sega like 2 years ago and tried to play it. It's amazing how simple the games were back then yet they were so much fun.
