Colin McRae DiRT Movie Clip (360)

Xboxyde has posted a movie clip from Colin McRae DiRT.
"The embargo around DiRT is finally lifted, so it's with great pleasure that I release these three videos I recorded last week. You'll discover quite a lot of environments and a few game modes in there, and no doubt the majority will agree that this is a great looking game even if there is a lot of tearing and slowdowns in some modes."

FIFA 08 Gameplay Information (Wii)

N-Europe has posted some FIFA 08 gameplay information.
"The game has changed the camera from the common left-to-right gameplay, and instead have given us a bottom-to-top viewpoint, similar to Sensible Soccer. This is to make the controls feel easier to perform. Flick the Remote left or right to pass the ball left or right, and pull it up hard and fast to shoot at the ball - the harder you move the Remote, the more power the ball has. During a free kick, the angle the nunchuck gives the ball relevant spin. Throw-ins are done by holding the Remote and Nunchuck above your head and making a throwing motion. The Wii version also allows you to control your goalkeeper directly during the game."

"Get a quick taste of the forthcoming Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights."

Other Stuff...

Picked up my Mac over the weekend, but probably won't turn it on until next weekend. Ordered a monitor, keyboard and mouse for it last night, so I'm hoping it gets here fairly soon. It was good to see my best friend, haven't seen him since sometime last year when we played a little golf. He lost a lot of weight and his girls are so big now! Jeez.

Other than that, just studying for test #2 on my MCSE 2003 track. I'm taking the test on Wednesday.

What's up with you?

What gets opened first, the Mac or the Wii?

QOTD - relaxed, grilled out, and played Forza 2. Great weekend

QOTD: Good until last night. I gave up on the Cavs at about 11 PM to watch Family Guy since they were down by 27. They made a decent comeback, but I've watched enough NBA basketball to know they weren't winning. I figured why watch more when it was only going to aggravate me more. Hopefully, the home crowd will help them turn it around (and Mike Brown will bench Hughes for Gibson).
Had a great weekend camping for my wife's 30th Birthday. It was nice to get away and just relax in nature. I think we're going to try to do it again this summer if we get a chance.

Good question!

Great weekend, other than the Cavs loss, eh?

Yeah, Brown definitely needs to get Boobie in there more. Hopefully they can make this series interesting, so far it's been very boring.

Cavs loss? You're mistaken my friend, the Finals haven't even begun yet, first 2 games were like the pre-season.

QOTD: Well the weekend was based around 'The Sopranos' finale (which I liked! ) and as such I cooked up an Italian feast yesterday. My wife had to work some long hours, but I had some fun in the nice weather with my son. He's turning into a pretty good soccer player. Next year at four he'll finally be able to play an organized sport and he couldn't be happier!

QOTD: Went golfin' on Friday. Not a bad round considering I hadn't really been out much at all this year. It was a little windy, but nice. I blew up my 4-iron about 7 holes in. Never seen anything like it. I crushed the ball and the head just snapped off. Graphite shattered. Weird stuff.

Spent all day Saturday working in the yard. Did all of the pimp edging on the lawn. I hate doing it, but when it's done, the lawn just looks 1000x better. I like to get a pretty deep but slim edge on there. Looks damn good. Perfect day outside to do it. Got a little more sun then I wanted to, but it was worth it.

Sunday... pretty lazy all in all. Went out and bought new running shoes for The Race on Saturday. Did a short run to start breaking them in a little. Not much after that.

Great weekend all in all.

Went to the Champ Car race in Portland. Not bad, can't see much of the track from any vantage point.

SeaBass was really cooking after his 2nd stint. G. Rahul was all over the track.

QOTD: I did some yard work too this weekend. I enjoy that. Made it to teh gym Sunday. Other than that, hung out with the family during the day, played some video games at night. I was going to open the pool, but it is still not hot enough. That plus the kids are still in school this week so it wouldn't get used. I'll definitely take the cover off on Friday.
