8 Ball All Stars Screenshots (DS)

Boomtown has posted some 8 Ball All Stars screenshots.
"A few images from Oxygen Interactive's nifty-looking pool game for Nintendo DS."

Football Manager Live Beta Key Giveaway Starting Soon (PC)

Eurogamer has the scoop.
"Eurogamers and Sports Interactive will be cutting the ribbon and announcing the beginning of the Football Manager Live beta key giveaway at 3pm. That's a link to the page you need to go. Obviously.

In case it wasn't obvious, today's bonanza gives you a chance to get in there and try out the new massively-multiplayer online vision before everyone else, and presumably help the team find and iron out some bugs."

MotorStorm Store Content Delayed (PS3)

PSX Extreme has the scoop.
"Everyone was anticipating the extra maps, game modes, and gameplay changes for Resistance: Fall of Man and MotorStorm, all of which was supposed to hit the Store yesterday. But it mysteriously never showed up, so everyone was wondering...what happened?"

Need for Speed Pro Street 'Audio' HD

Other Stuff...

Spurs go up 1 on the Cavs to start off the Finals. Bron was shutdown for the most part as the Cavs couldn't get it going against the Spurs defense. I doubt either team gets over 90 points in the series.

One of my friends is giving me a Mac this weekend. I'm looking forward to playing around w/ it, since I've never really sat down w/ one. It's an old G4, I think he said, but it'll do, since I'm just trying to get a feel for the system.

What's up with you?

What up!! that skeleton is crazy, and the female Xbox gamers pic is hilarious!

Rough game for the Cavs, but it's a first to win 4 games series, so hopefully we can take game 2.

QOTD - Not much actually, going to a Christening for one of my wife's friend's daughter tomorrow, that's about it.

He keeps losing weight and has been very lethargic this week, but neither my wife or I gets the vibe he's terminally ill, I think he has a virus of some sort. Either way we need to get him better, if we are wrong, we'd not only lose him but probably is brother as well. Ferrets are well known for dying of broken hearts when a sibling dies, and these two are siblings who spend every second with each other. So please wish him luck or say a prayer for Gus-Gus (aka Vic). We also need to get a microwave this weekend, our old one put on a spectacular light show a couple of weeks ago and we haven't replaced it yet, and no there was no tin foil or metal involved, the microwave just died
Wow, a broken heart death? I never would have known that, are there other animals that do that sort of thing? I'll send some prayers, hope Vic gets better soon.

On another note. When me and my daughter go feed the ducks, our daily routine, we see quite a few ducks out there that are actually forcing another ducks head under water, I'm guessing they are fighting? Or is this some sort of odd courtship? I mean, it's actually a little hilarious, because sometimes 2 or 3 other ducks join in and help keep the ducks head under the water. Strange behavior, but it sure looks like they are fighting.

Tough game for the Cavs. LeBron has to get his scoring going earlier for the Cavs to have a shot. Also, more Boobie, less Hughes.

QOTD: Going camping for my wife's 30th birthday.

QOTD: No plans this weekend. I'm debating whether to open the pool or wait one more week. Otherwise just some yard work and play with the kids. I love summer. We've been having some great 2 v 2 kickball games in the yard after dinner this week.

QOTD: We're going to head to the park on Saturday and play some baseball/soccer with my son (he's psyched about playing soccer for a team next year), and on Sunday I'm mixing up my "famous" Sunday gravy, polenta fries, and a mixed green salad in anticipation of the finale of 'The Sopranos' that night.

hey mike, have you read about the kid who "drove" through the Sunrise Mall yesterday?? yikes.. also, speaking of pools, apparently here in Suffolk Co., they are trying to pass a bill that anyone who owns a pool (in Suffolk) has to get an alarm - that would also mean my parents would have to get one...

Man, I have looked all over the internet to see what it is they are actually doing, but can't find any answers. It's like they are trying to drown the guy, hilarious really, but sad in a way, if they succeed w/ their plans, lol.

odd thing too I noticed... it wasn't the same "species" of duck either... like I saw those all-white ducks doing this to mallards.. strange...

Yup, same here. I never see the geese do anything, other than pull on each others feathers when another goose is in the way, but the ducks, man, they are hardcore! haha. I've even seen a duck get away from the "Drowning" then proceed to fly away, only to be chased by 2 or 3 ducks in the air, darting at him in the sky, absolute madness I tell you.

QOTD:

Tonight, we're heading over to a friend's house for dinner.

Tomorrow is the big North Carolina Wine Festival (www.ncwinefestival.com) that our company is putting on. I'll be out there most of the day walking around, greeting folks, shaking hands and kissing baby's. My mom is coming up from Charlotte to keep my wife company at the event since I'll be busy most of the day.

Sunday, I'll play the waiting game before the finale of Sopranos. It's going to be bittersweet.

Today I have a soccer game, which is always fun. Tomorrow, I'm going to try and go to the US soccer game against Trinidad and Tobago at the Home Depot Center with some friends. Sunday, I don't have any plans yet, maybe I'll go see Ocean's Thirteen.

My wife told me about the mall incident this morning. We go to Sunrise Mall fairly often, since we live only about 2 miles away. I figured it was an accident, but read that he did it on purpose. Drove in one entrance and out another. Luckily no one was run over. Here's the news article with some pics. http://www.newsday.com/news/local/lo...-top-headlines

QOTD: My first weekend back in the Seattle area. Heading over for a BBQ tonight for my friend's bro's B-Day. Tomorrow, I've heard there's a beer pong tourney or something going on around town, so I might hit that up. Other than that, trying to find an affordable apt. to rent in the Seattle area. I've not found many so far...

So ready for the weekend... I'm exhausted and I haven't gamed as much as I would like this week.
