Mario Strikers Charged Screenshots (Wii)

NintendoWorldReport has posted some screenshots of Mario Strikers Charged.

Gran Turismo 5 Details Emerge (PS3)

Neowin has the scoop.
"French gaming mag Joypad landed an exclusive interview with Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi in their June edition, and with that interview they squeezed out some juicy information regarding the next release of GT, including a frequently asked for damage system."

Forza Motorsport 2 on 3 Monitors (360)

Check it out, over at Kotaku.
"Anyways, I had a go on both the super-setup and the regular, one-screen-one-controller setup, and found out two things. One, with access to most of the tracks and most of the cars, the full game's a lot prettier than the boring demo (the NYC track in particular). And secondly, this game will kick your ***. For reals. It's brutal. Even with all the frilly, lacey driving aids on it's hard. Turn them off, you're done for. This one's going to be for racing fans only."

Mario Strikers Scores Own Goal (Wii)

N-Europe has the scoop.
"Are you one of the many people who rushed from work or school desperate to get some online play in? Well your going to be left a little disappointed...

Whilst things have been running smoothly for those lucky enough to play during the day, once 4pm/5pm hit and people started to arrive home from work and school messages such as "ERROR GETTING STATS" and the displaying of error codes 98020 and 86070 have become common place.

What has caused this problem is unknown at this moment in time and with NoE closed for the weekend we might not hear anything. There are of course many possibilities, the worst case scenario is that the servers have collapsed under the weight of extreme traffic, which could mean they down all weekend. Perhaps more likely however is that they simply didn't anticipate the huge demand for online matches and the servers are just having a bit of trouble keeping up."

Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights and Skate Previews (PS3)

PSX Extreme has posted previews of the following games:
  • Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights
"As far as customizing goes, Juiced 2 will include over 250 aftermarket modifications for every one of the game's 90 cars. While it doesn't seem like Juiced 2 will feature as much as the Need for Speed games have had recently, it's still a fairly decent number. Furthermore, there could still be plenty of other mods that we aren't aware of, just yet. Lastly, and maybe even most importantly, Juiced 2 will feature a damage model - so when the cars take a beating, it'll show."
  • Skate
"So as you can see, SKATE is poised to aim at realism, as opposed to a button mashing contest and see who string the longest combinations by grinding and manualing non-stop while throwing in a few flips here and there. The game will be completely physics driven, so if your timing isn't very precise, your skater will likely pay for it with bruises. Best of all, EA promises that with every play, no two tricks of yours will ever be the same."

Flatout Ultimate Carnage and Forza Motorsport 2 Video Clips (360)

Xboxyde has posted video clips from the following games:
  • Flatout Ultimate Carnage
"Empire Interactive sent us the preview build of Flatout Ultimate Carnage, and as a racing game fan I had to play and record it immediately. I don't think a lot of people will complain about the graphics, as you'll all be able to see in these first two videos. For what was supposed to be just a port, it sure looks good!"
  • Forza Motorsport 2
"I think Forza Motorsport 2 is the worst example of a game that you either like or hate with a passion, ever since it was unveiled last year up to now every thread about this game was trolled to death. So even if I didn't like this game a lot (and I do), I'd be happy to finally see it released so we can finally move on. Thankfully, after playing the preview build quite a bit and seeing that the final one was pretty much the same I'm now in Forza 2 lovers camp, even if the game definitely won't win prizes for its graphics. There is an incredible joy when playing this game with a fast car, especially using the Force Feedback wheel. Grinning for ears to ears while playing a racing simulation is definitely a first for me, so I'm the first surprised by how much I enjoy this game."

Major Nelson's Forza Motorsport 2 In Game Pictures (360)

Major Nelson has posted some pictures of Forza Motorsport 2.
"On tomorrow’s show, I have Dan Greenawalt who is the lead game designer for Forza Motorsport 2 (which is on sale in Japan already, and goes on sale in the US and Europe over the coming weeks.) To prepare for the interview, I have been playing a little FM2 and getting familiar with some of the game features, especially the website integration. One of the features I am really enjoying is the ability to take photos in game and them have them upload to ForzaMotorsport.net."

Other Stuff...

Had a pretty relaxing weekend, I guess you could say. We went to the beach and got baked, not a lot of waves so we didn't boogie board. Basically, just kicked back and looked for shells and ocean creatures w/ Nat. She absolutely loves going to the beach and this is actually the first time she actually felt the wrath of the sun. She says her back itches, but it doesn't hurt. She is definitely red, but the SPF 60 blocked most of it, I suppose.

Other than that, I watched the Pistons lose a close on to the Cavs, but they aren't going to lose tonight.

What's up with you?

QOTD: Pretty good, especially on Sunday night when the Cavs won. Got all my yard work done (or at least what I set out to do this weekend) and had some time to relax.

QOTD - Had a great weekend. The Indy 500 rocked!!! Best sporting event I've ever attended live. Had fantastic seats, and saw a great race, even though it was rain shortened. I would recommend everyone go to the race at least once in their lives. So amazing.

I was chilling with my girl. We watched a few movies on Sunday and Monday. She cooked me meals and we just sat and talked. I played a season game of NBA 2K7 which was pretty good. I'm 4-0 in my Association. It's seeming incredibly easy on HOF. I'm starting to wonder about my gaming skills. Then around 4:00 yesterday, I was close to signing out until I saw one of my old friends. We played a game in NBA 2K7. Couldn't get connected for the second game so we decided to try something else. Since I'm at my girls house, I only brought the necessary games to have fun. Luckily one of those games was Gears. I got online for some Co-op in Gears of War on INSANE. Haven't played that game in almost 2 months.

It's a fun game when you're playing by yourself but when you're playing in a mission with a friend, that joint is SOOOOO TIGHT!! I love XBOX Live just for that option. After I beat it in Coop, I'm heading back into it to beat it by myself on Insane. I can't wait for the second one to come out. So far, the story isn't out of this world, but I'm truly interested. Graphics were nice last time I played. However, when I'm playing with someone and seeing them do some of the chainsawing, moving, switching weapons, and things of that nature, it turns me into a little school girl. My goodness that game is great. Got a few achievements last night too which is great. Definitely looking forward to playing a few more games before I head off to camp for the summer. Debating whether I should take my 360 with me or leave it at home.

QOTD: By Monday night I was exhausted. Saturday we had a yard sale. We got rid of a lot of stuff, but it was a lot of work. Monday we had family over so we did extra house work and yard work on Sunday. In between we were shopping for a new couch.

QOTD: The weekend was alright for the most part. Got the rest of our yard work finished and now we wait and see if our veggies and herbs will grow! Would have been better if I was able to eat real food, though...have to wait "hopefully" only one more week.

QOTD - weekend pretty much was lousy (worked ).. had off yesterday, which I went to a small BBQ with my g/f, but basically did nothing (oh, yes, laughed cause the Yanks lost again).. Today we are going to pick up the ring, as it came in the other day, & might catch Shrek tonight

QOTD:

Had an INCREDIBLE weekend in Wilmington! It was my first time back since we moved last summer and wow, that town has changed so much. Lots of new restaurants, shopping centers, and a few finished road projects welcomed us to town.

We got there late Friday and went to eat at our favorite restaurant in town, "The Little Dipper", a fondue restaurant. Saturday, we got the beach early (9am) and hung out there until noon. Then I went back to the hotel, showered, and went to watch the CAA Baseball Championship Game at UNCW. Virginia Commonwealth beat Delaware in 13 innings to get the automatic bid to the NCAA Baseball Tournament. Saturday night, we went back downtown and had some drinks with friends. Sunday, more beach and dinner with friends. Monday, I went by my old work to say hi to old friends, then we drove back home.

Overall, a great weekend. I miss Wilmington.

QOTD: I had a good weekend. I went to an African Cultural Event at my church. Then on Sunday I went to a friend's house for a graduation party. Watched the Cavs game, and had barbecue yesterday.
