5WG Article (360)

5WG has posted an article entitled, Transparency.
"While I suspect that Electronic Arts will wisely get around this by resurrecting their “EA Locker” initiative, as suggested by knowledgeable EA evangelists, it’s important to note that despite EA’s best efforts, they’re not the beginning and the end of sports gaming; an Ouroboros that lives merely to consume itself - there are other game developers out there who may not have the time to incorporate such technology into their upcoming titles, unless Microsoft warned them in advance."

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground Screenshots (PS3, 360)

Playsyde and Xboxyde have both posted some Tony Hawk's Proving Ground screenshots.
"Activision and Neversoft unveil the first images of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, new instalment of the series to be released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Nothing really exciting here as there's not much to see, but those of you who used to play Project 8 should feel like home."

NASCAR 08 and Project Gotham Racing 4 Movie Clips

Kotaku has posted movie clips from NASCAR 08 and Project Gotham Racing 4.
"From what I can see in the video it looks like those water effects are simply static skins attached to the cars, and not some sort of magical dynamic rivuletation system. Still pretty, but until I have to pull a t-shirt out of the back to wipe the condensation off the front windshield, driving games will never truly be real."

Other Stuff...

The Suns just made the Spurs series interesting last night. I'm feeling the affects of watching that game this morning. These games are on entirely too late, but I stay up and watch anyways. I hope the Suns win the series, as I can't stand the Spurs. I think Horry will be suspended.

What's up with you?

What up? Same stuff here, different day.

I'm not a huge NBA fan, but I watch for the Cavs. Once/if they are eliminated, I'm done.

Well... yesterday my g/f & I went out & picked out the engagement ring.. should be getting it in about two weeks, & then the "question" will be asked in July (my brother's wedding is next month, so that is out)..

QOTD- really only watch bits & pieces of the NBA playoffs - not really excited by them

QOTD: Love the NBA playoffs (even more so when the Cavs are involved). The quality of play is so much better than March Madness, but I think you have to be a true basketball fan to appreciate it. That's why MM is much more popular with the casual fans.

QOTD: I like watching the NBA playoffs. But I can't stay up for those late games during the week, unless my team is in it or its a game seven.

I couldn't disagree more.

QOTD: I'll watch it if it's on and there's nothing else to watch.

QOTD - Trying to root for Cleveland to take it all, I like Lebron James.
