It's coming sooner than you think."

All-Pro Football 2K8 Preview

GamePro has posted their first look at All-Pro Football 2K8.
"There are no hard details yet on how the licensing works, but the main idea is that you'll be able to build your ideal team of stars without using NFL properties. According to Visual Concepts president Greg Thomas, that's not important. "We want to bring football back to the fans and make the best playing game out there," said Greg. All-Pro 2k8 will have tons of customizable options, but the experience revolves around playing with all the great and talented legends that NFL history has to offer."

All-Pro Football 2K8 in July? (PS3)

According to Best Buy, it's a maybe. Thanks countryboy!
"Imagine Rice, Unitas, Butkus and Singletary, all in their prime, all on the same team. You can make this dream come true with All-Pro Football 2K8, which features more than 240 legendary players. Draft your dream team and prepare for hardcore action that depicts football the way it was meant to be played."

AFL 2007 Screenshots (?)

Kotaku has posted some screenshots of AFL 2007.
"I despise this sport, but since we attract a fairly large number of Australian readers who probably do not, this is for you. Screenshots of AFL 2007. Yes, 2007. Not 1999. I promise."

Madden NFL 08 Preview (PS3)

GameSpy has posted their preview of Madden NFL 08.
"First off, branching animations mean no more canned animations locking you into a bad position. The goal is to put control back in your hands faster, rather than locking the character into an animation. Instead of watching your receiver keep on trucking right out of bounds instead of heading up field, or watching someone "jetpack" up and not being able to do anything about it, all because the animation has begun and you can't do anything until its finished, you'll be able to take control of your players at virtually any time. Since what animation is appropriate is calculated more often, you can send your player upfield or tear that jumper out of the air. Branching animations might not be such a big deal to players who get through Madden in a haze of football Sunday beer, but having even a moment more of control during a play is going to be huge for serious players."

Project Gotham Racing 4 Screenshots (360)

Gameinfowire has posted some screenshots of Project Gotham Racing 4.
"At the X06 event in Barcelona, Microsoft and Bizarre Creations were pleased to announce that Project Gotham Racing 4 is in production exclusively for the Xbox 360 platform. The game is being developed by Bizarre Creations, veteran developers of the Project Gotham Racing series, with Microsoft as publishers."

Rumor: Rockstar bringing Table Tennis to the Wii?

Wiifanboy has the scoop.
"The rumor mill is at it again, churning out log after log of potentially possible prospects in the gaming world. The latest of which is the rumor that Rockstar is planning on bringing its Table Tennis game to the Wii. While we'd agree that the gameplay of said title would suit the console's control scheme perfectly, along with Rockstar's recent support of Nintendo by bringing Manhunt 2 over to the Wii (lending a bit of credibility to the rumor), we believe a couple of things will ultimately get in the way of this happening."
