Other Stuff...

Not a lot of anything for me over the weekend, besides getting a little further into God of War II and the NFL Draft. I was happy w/ the first day for the Boys, but the 2nd day is a little shady.

Sucks that I have to wait a week before the Pistons/Bulls series. I watched the Warriors beat the Mavs last night in a great game. Dirk looked as if he was scared to touch the ball at one point in the game. MVP, yeah right.

Hoping to get back to work by Thursday, but we'll see what the doc says.

What's up with you?
  • QOTD: So, how do you think your team fared in the NFL Draft?

QOTD: Loved the Joe Thomas pick. First offensive tackle taken by the Browns in the first 3 rounds since 1979!!! No wonder their line has sucked for so long. Linemen have the lowest first round "bust" rate (QB's have the highest), Robert Gallery notwithstanding. Hopefully, he'll team with Steinbach to give the Browns a solid left side for a long time.

I think I like the trade to draft Brady Quinn. To be able to get the guy you were going to take at 3 at 22 is pretty good. I'm concerned about giving up that 1st rounder next year since it will probably be in the top 10. I guess Phil Savage figured it was worth the risk to get a potential franchise QB.

They got some CB's which they really needed, but I would've liked to see them get another RB. Can Jamal Lewis stay healthy all year?

QOTD:
Poor, I'm not crazy about Brandon Jackson, especially in the 2nd round. Wish the Pack had gotten Irons or Michael Bush...or Marshawn Lynch for that matter.

QOTD: Outside of Leon Hall I am not to happy with the Bengals draft.

QOTD: I think the Broncos got what they needed, despite the possible character questions. The ex-Browns D-Line, while decent at points, was never able to generate pressure on opposing QB's, forcing the great linebackers and Champ to make plays. Hopefully with Moss and Crowder, along with Elvis Dumervil, they can create some havoc for opposing QB's.

I'm sure Bly and Champ would love some hurried passes falling into their laps

Any Browns fan could have told you to expect that.
