Vince Young to Grace Cover of Madden '08

The Nashville City Paper has the scoop.
"Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young will be on the cover of the EA Sports Madden 2008 video game.

A source with knowledge of the situation confirmed Young’s gracing the cover of the game to The City Paper. Efforts to reach EA Sports were unsuccessful on Monday.

An official announcement is expected on Tuesday and Young will appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" as part of the kickoff promotion for the newest version the popular NFL video game that is endorsed by NFL Hall of Fame coach and analyst John Madden."

3D Ultra Minigolf Screenshots (360)

Xboxyde has posted some screenshots of 3D Ultra Minigolf.
"Microsoft announced a few hours ago that this week we would get not one but two XBLA releases: The classic Gyruss from Konami for 400 points, and the quite nice 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures from Sierra."

Forza Motorsport 2 Demo With 24 Cars (360)

Fragland has the scoop.
"Soon we'll be able to play the Forza Motorsport 2 demo and with that you'll be able to test your driving skills (and the game) in up to 24 cars! Of course you'll find the thing on Xbox Live and you'll do that somewhere this month."

360Monster Screenshots (360)

360Monster has posted screenshots from the following games:
  • Forza Motorsport 2
"You wont have long to play this highly anticipated title, when it skids in to stores May 15th, lock up the kids, call in sick, and prepare for the biggest adrenaline rush of your life."
  • SEGA Rally Revo
"According to SEGA the game will feature "revolutionary dynamically deformable terrain", so basically we should expect a lot of mud, gravel, snow and dust effects, with proper ruts in the courses on repeated contact with tyres, which seems like an obvious and justified design decision. The effects of different surfaces on your car's handling and behaviour was Sega Rally's most revolutionary aspect and has been important in every competing rally game since. It appears that this will be taken a step further in Revo, with the ruts created by both yours and your opponent's cars actually having a physical effect on the handling."

Other Stuff...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of the fallen Virginia Tech students and professors. What an absolute tragic day it was yesterday, sickening really.

Other than the winds blowing over trash cans and tree limbs, there isn't much going on. Just waiting for the NBA playoffs to finally get started.

What's up with you?
  • QOTD: When it comes to the playoffs, which sport gets you the most excited?

Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!

My prayers are also with all of those in the Virginia Tech family. My God be with you all in your time of sorrow and grief.

Supposed to be windy and stormy again today here as well. 3 tornadoes touched down in the DFW area on Friday, and more severe storms are expected today, but not as many and not as large. Some hail and high winds. I just hope we get in our softball game tonight. We've already had 2 rainouts in the last month.

QOTD: In the past, its always been hockey, because of the way overtime is, but I've lost interest in the past. I can't stand the NBA, so that's out, and while I love baseball, I only usually watch the world series. If the NCAA tourney counts, then its definately that, otherwise, I guess its football by default.

I'm a football guy so NFL Playoffs always get me going but there is something about baseball in October that is freakin awesome.

QOTD - well I was excited for the NHL playoffs, but seeing that horrendously called Isles game last night, can't say that. I can deal with a better team winning, but not when the officials take the game away from one team..

Vince Young on the cover! Yipes! Can't wait to see the exclusive QB scrambling features!

QOTD: For playoffs nothing beats the NFL for the overall experience. The one game and done is simply the best. However the Stanley Cup finals are always exciting, especially when they go into endless overtime

QOTD: NFL Playoffs

QOTD: Its a mix. I love the UEFA champions league as well as the FA cup, but I also love march madness. In the end, I suppose March Madness gets me the most excited, especially when IU is good (which hasnt been too often the last few years).
