Forza Motorsport 2 Demo Confirmed (360)

Eurogamer has the scoop.
"Microsoft has confirmed reports that a Forza Motorsport 2 demo will appear on Xbox Live Marketplace fairly soon. "The rumours this week of a downloadable demo are true and the details on timing will be confirmed in the coming weeks," the publisher said in a statement."

Forza Motorsport 2 Car List Update (360)

Boomtown has posted an updated Forza Motorsport 2 car list.
"Microsoft has released the selection of Aftermarket Tuner Car Classics featured in Forza Motorsport 2. Another exciting week in the build up to the release of Forza Motorosport 2. Not only has Microsoft confirmed that a playable demo of the racer will be coming to Xbox Live soon, but it's also listed the Aftermarket Tuner Car Classics that appear in the game."

Pocket Pool Preview (PSP)

Yeah, I said it...PSX Extreme has posted their Pocket Pool preview. That just doesn't sound right, does it?
"First off, let’s just clarify once again: the game does not have the Girls Gone Wild license, but then again, we were never sure what that license would've offered in the first place. As it is, you’re simply supposed to rack up – get it? – as many points as you can, and your unlockable prizes should appeal to all red-blooded males over the age of 17 (we say 17 to be legally correct; the game is rated “M,” after all). If anybody has populated a pool hall in the past, they probably know that it doesn’t exactly draw the highest class of people. That may sound insulting to the sport, but we can’t help it if it’s also true. And besides, that’s exactly the kind of appeal the developers are banking on with Pocket Pool, and provided the gameplay isn’t too atrocious, they should hit their mark."

More Mario Strikers Info (Wii)

N-Europe has some more information on Mario Strikers.
"The Wii-mote brings a dynamic new element to the series, encouraging the player to make instinctive physical movements to achieve the desired effect within the game. Basic movement and strikes are executed using the analogue stick and buttons on the Wii Remote and nunchuk. Flicking the Wii-mote will cause the character to check their opponent, hopefully stealing the ball in the process. Players can also use the revolutionary controller to perform cat-like saves, defending their goal from Megastrikes by grabbing the balls clean out of the air."

Sensi Soccer – One Of The Greatest Games Ever Made? (360)

Spong has posted an article entitled, Sensi Soccer – One Of The Greatest Games Ever Made?
"So we immediately picked up the phone for a quick chinwag with Codemasters Online Gaming bossman, David Solari, who informed us that, “Yep, it’s going to be the first, official online multiplayer version of Sensi for home console, which we’re all quite excited about,” he told us."

Other Stuff...

Well, we lost our game last night and unfortunately, I didn't get to play much at all. I'm not exactly sure why, but oh well. We have guys out there that can't even run up and down the court 3 times in a row, but yet they stay in the game. Makes no sense, but what can ya do. I just wait for my name to be called...patiently...are you kidding me? Put me in already...Bah...When I came in, I shut down their leading scorer, as soon as they take me out, he starts lighting it up again. Enough ranting, hopefully a few of the guys come up with an illness of some sort next week.

So, after a brief workout, shower and getting my daughter to bed, I decided to unwrap Guitar Hero II for the 360. I thought I'd play a few songs and hit the sack. I was playing on "Easy" BTW, this one song was kicking my ***. Next thing you know it's 2:00 in the morning, WHAT!?!?!?! I go to bed and we had some crazy thunderstorms last night and I could barely sleep a wink. I wake up this morning and the clock is flashing, telling me the electric went out and I'M LATE FOR WORK! Yeah me!

What's up with you?

QOTD: My longest gaming session probably toggles from the launch of GRAW last year (I think a bunch of us here played six plus hours...nearly getting the "Marathon" achievement) and FFX, where I played at least as long. When I get deep in RPG's it's always "one more dungeon, get to the next town, oh snap a boss" rinse, repeat

QOTD: One time in junior high, a friend and I played Rampage for hours and hours until we finally beat the whole thing. I'm guessing we played for 6 hours straight.

Last weekend, both my friends and my own wife took off for the weekend, along with our kids. Needless to say, we golfed about 80 holes and played Winning eleven from about 6 pm till 3 am. Now that was a good weekend.

Look at you! One season and you've already turned into Steve Francis wannabe, complaining about playing time! Wow!

QOTD:
My longest gaming session happened while I was in college. Back when online gaming was just getting started, we had a dorm building-wide Quake marathon that lasted from 7pm on a Saturday night to 6am Sunday. It was so much fun! We had maybe 20-25 people all throughout the dorm building hooked up and playing...we had a blast. The best part was killing someone in-game and being able to hear them yell about it down the hall.

man goes to college yet doesnt know the difference between Iowa the state & Iowa the ship.. (j/k)

QOTD: I haven't had a session of gaming lasting many hours, but would have to say the last one I sat through for a decent period was GRAW.. Before that, had a NHL 94 tourney with my roommates, & several others that involved "spirits" for each goal let up... needless to say, I can't remember too much after the first couple of rounds...

I'm not exactly sure how long the actual hours where but the game was Ncca Football 2004.
We had a 5 man dynasty going and it was bowl season. So you play your scheduled team against basically four different coordinators, because each of the other team owners plays one quarter. So thats 5 different bowl games (including me playing for the championship with USC) and then RECRUITING, you all can imagine how long it takes for 1 person to recruit in these games, imagine 5 people, and then making a new schedule trying to fit everybody onto your schedule (or avoiding people).

Girlfriends were notified of "championship sunday" but still ended up showing up anyway and just looking disappointed at all of us.

QOTD:
I'm with tehova, two friends of mine were stuck in town for spring break my sophmore year so we had a recruiting wars dynasty in NCAA 04 and we recruited, played each other, and simulated the rest. We went through 3 or 4 seasons in the span of about 10 hours.
