But Coach, I Practiced in the Living Room

The New York Times have posted an article on Wii Sports entitled, But Coach, I Practiced in the Living Room.
"Released in November, the $249.99 Wii console — which comes with golf, boxing, tennis and baseball games as well as bowling — wasn’t designed to give gamers a leg up in the real world. Nevertheless, dedicated users say having skill at the sport in question not only helps them win onscreen, but that practicing their golf swing or left hook in the Wii universe also improves real-life technique."

Ferrari Challenge Coming (Wii, DS)

N-Europe has the scoop.
"System 3, a small London-based developer, today announced that they will be bringing Ferrari Challenge to the Wii and the DS. The title is hitting other systems, but promises console-specific content. The Wii version will, shockingly enough, take advantage of the motion control to steer its vehicles. The DS game will feature WiFi support, allowing multiplayer Ferrari racing. Other details are sparse, so it's hard to judge how the games will turn out."

Hot Shots 5 Demo Appears On Japanese Store (PS3)

PSX Extreme has the details and directions on how to get your copy.
"You're saying, "aw, but it's only for Japan!" Well...kinda. It may only be for the Japanese Store, but you should be aware you can put in any information you want when signing up. It's the virtual world; you can live in Japan if you simply tell the PS3 you do live in Japan. And voila, you're playin' the HSG 5 demo. Give it a shot! (pun intended)"

Virtua Tennis 3 Demo Video Clip (360)

Xboxyde has posted a video clip from the demo of Virtua Tennis 3.
"Virtua Tennis has just landed on the X360 Marketplace. After a couple of hard defeats, I've recorded my performances. You'll see two games, one with Federer and the other with Nadal, against Sharapova and one of the Williams sisters."

So far so good, I'm 2nd in a pool of 38.

I'm sure I'll be done for by the end of the weekend.

I had Long Beach State in the Sweet Sixteen.

Other than that, I had a few losses, but LBSU was my only Sweet Sixteen or further loss.

So far, I've lost 2 of my Sweet 16 and 1 of my Elite 8. All four Final Four teams are left. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I've only lost 2 Sweet Sixteen, but I was 24-8 in the first round, so no great first round for me.
