The Good, Bad and Ugly - Hair Apparent Comparisons

ESPN Videogames have posted an article entitled, Hair Apparent.
"Forget mimicking the badassedness of a Kobe Bryant jam or the exactness of K.G.'s baby hook. In today's crowded hoops market, it's all about the coif. If the look and feel of a player's hairdo isn't on point, who cares about draining 18-footers? It's easy enough for 2K Sports to replicate Elton Brand's thin layer of fuzz or Chauncey Billups' smooth dome, but when the hair got tough in NBA 2K7, did their graphics squad get going?"

Wipeout To Use MotorStorm Engine (PS3)

PSX Extreme has the scoop.
"Whenever we find out which engine a developer chooses to use, we always swing our gaze to the games available that already utilize the engine. In this way, we get an idea as to the potential and promise of any upcoming titles...but it's somewhat more challenging when the only game using such an engine hasn't even been released yet."

This one is developed by Milestone, the same guys that did the first (and yet only) Superbike World Championship back in 1999. It did pretty good and got solid reviews, so this can turn into something good."

PGR4 Concept Contest Winner (360)

Eurogamer has the scoop.
"Peugeot's competition to design a car for Project Gotham Racing 4 has already done a lot for the game. Inadvertently announcing it in the first place, for example. And now it has a winner, we can all marvel at a car you'll actually be able to drive when the game launches.

Called the "Flux Concept", the winning concept "was inspired by the continuous change and flow of our daily lives during work and play," according to the author, who sounds like one of those people."
