Ben Brinkman, Producer of Major League Baseball 2K7, has started up a blog at 1up. Make sure you check it out. We should have his interview answers back next week, keep your eyes peeled.
"This time of year on a video game is bittersweet. It always is. I also have an itchy face from my "finaling beard" and am ready to shave it off as soon as all versions of the game are approved.
The hard part is over. We busted our butts for months to make the best game we could so the people who go out and buy our game are happy with the final version. Now we are sitting, waiting to hear back on approvals from Sony and Microsoft. That leaves a lot of time for reflection on what we could have done differently or better. Every project I've ever been on has been this way and I think this is good. It means you are looking ahead and always trying to improve and deliver a game that is every year head and shoulders above the previous version. It also gives you a good start for the next project. All that said, my overriding thoughts on MLB 2K7 are. We kicked a lot of *** in a short amount of time! The MLB team at Kush should be very proud of itself!"
