NBA Street Homecourt Preview (PS3)

PSX Extreme has posted their preview of NBA Street Homecourt.
"When NBA Street Homecorut debuts this March, it'll mark the 6th year anniversary of the series and the fourth entry EA BIG will be publishing. Clearly, with a new generation of hardware comes the ability of creating an NBA Street title like never before. Visually, Homecourt boasts the traditionally detailed ball-players sporting some rather sharp texture work. Though, perhaps, the most important thing in a sports games' visuals is its animation. Silky smooth animation just wasn't something that last-gen consoles were overly capable of producing. But things have changed...dramatically. NBA Street sports players that animate superbly no matter which action they're pulling off. Sudden directional changes are done properly and fluidly."

Asphalt 2: Urban GT Screenshots (PSP)

Gameinfowire has posted some screenshots of Asphalt 2: Urban GT.
"Asphalt: Urban GT 2 shifts into gear with six game modes, numerous tuning possibilities, 30 tracks and 36 licensed cars and motorcycles taking handheld racing simulations to a new level. To keep the action hot, Asphalt: Urban GT 2 features music from Moby and music and appearances from the *****cat Dolls."

Gran Turismo HD Revs Up At Tokyo Auto Salon (PS3)

Kotaku has the scoop.
"At the recent Tokyo Auto Salon, a fleet of Gran Turismo Concept cabinets were wheeled out for car enthusiasts. It was possible to cruise through "Time Attack" mode or "Drift Trial," and each bucket-seat unit was outfitted with hi-def monitors and feedback GT FORCE Pro steering wheel controllers for a "real driving" experience."

Test Drive Unlimited Trailer (PS2)

Eurogamer has posted a trailer from Test Drive Unlimited.
"The video shows off the PS2 version, released here on 16th February, stitching together scene-after-scene of law-breaking and reckless driving.

The game itself features over 1000 miles of Hawaiian road to burn-rubber on, either on or offline. With 30+ famous manufacturers included there's a wealth of cars to chose from and personalise, as well as houses and garages available to buy."

What's Up?

Well, it ends up as today being the day we finalize on our kitchen cabinets. So, in about a month, we'll be installing those bad boys. Should be interesting, to say the least.

Can't wait for tonight to see Webber in a Pistons uni. Hopefully Billups will be in action as well.

My daughter is taking piano lessons and tonight will be her 2nd day going. She seems really into it, I'll probably be getting her a keyboard for her upcoming birthday.

Enough about me, what's up with you?

What's up?!

Am I the only one waiting for Will to post in this thread now based on the link that Steve posted (Top 10 WTF moments of 2006). LOL

It's cold here today, with wind chill, it was 4 degrees on the way into work (and if it's 4, feels like 4, why isn't it 4?!, don't tell me it's 18 but feels like 4, that means it's 4!!).

Not much going on, been a quick week so far, that's a very good thing, I just can't believe January is over half over already, the time is just flying.

Well got my PVR box yesterday. I dunno if my father and I hooked everything up right because the HD channels don't look all that impressive to me.

Other then that i'm now on a mission to get a DVD recorder so I can tape shows that i've saved to the PVR and put it on disc.

Did you hook it up with component or a HDMI cable?

I don't want to turn this into a technical help thread! Actually I may have one of my cousin's take a look at it this weekend.

Anywho I believe we used HDMI cables.

If you can't see the difference in HD to regular TV, there is definitely an issue. Do you have DirecTV or cable? Do you have the HD subsription packages or are you doing it OTA? There is a HUGE difference from HD to regular TV, if you're not seeing it, something isn't adding up. Especially, if you're using HDMI cables. Very strange.

Well like I said we'll take a look at it. Maybe it's just me but I doubt it.

I'll give an update in a few days

We have a windchill of 8 here. Crap. At least my 2 classes today are close by.

My parents bought an HDTV. Just as I move back to school so I won't be able to use it. At least I'm coming home the weekend of the superbowl. I forget the exact size, but it's 40 something inches, and it's a Sony LCD.

Played bball again last night and again didn't play well. And I'm not liking the brace I have to wear. On the back of my leg the straps have been cutting my skin somehow and it stings and makes it hard to run.

I just finished a major project at work, so I'm feeling pretty good right now.

Its cold here in NY, but I can handle is since Spring is only 2 months away. By March the worst winter weather is usually over.

Yeah bro, those braces can be a pain. I ended up getting my own brace from The Sports Authority and haven't had any issues.

Started raining here, so I'm pretty happy. I didn't want to go to tryouts today at all, so now I don't have to.

School is going to be so boring tomorrow, I do nothing in my consumer math class, and I've done everything in photo, so I'm basically going to sit around all day. Maybe I just won't go to school.

Yeah, which is stupid, since I've played 3 years and this will be my 4th year, I basically just have to show up and I'll be on the team. They just want to make it seem fair.

What's up?

It was a rather long day at work today and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed in this new position. Some days I wonder if I made the right choice taking another position in the company, and some days I feel like I made the right choice. I guess that is all part of life and we will see where my career leads to down the road.

I'm still undecided about this whole TV deal with my PS3. I want to take the PS3 and launch it into the street, but then I would be throwing money out the window. Sony really needs to fix the downscale issue.

It's been rather cold here today, but I am happy that we are finally getting consistant weather and not 50 degree weather in January. LOL!
