Burnout Dominator Screenshots (PS2)

Boomtown has posted some screenshots of Burnout Dominator.
"A stack of new shots from the latest PlayStation 2 game."

Virtua Tennis 3 Screenshots (PS3, 360)

Playsyde and Xboxyde have both posted some Virtua Tennis 3 screenshots.
"Sega released a whole bunch of images and artworks of Virtua Tennis 3, some not really new, to be released in March on PS3 and 360."

GameTrailers Movie Clips (Multi)

GameTrailers have posted movie clips from the following games:

Motorstorm Not 1080p (PS3)

Boomtown has the scoop.
"You may have heard quotes from SCEA Marketing VP Peter Dille and another Sony source at CES saying the US release of Motorstorm on PS3 would run at 60 frames per second and 1080p resolution.

It's not true.

Sony has admitted that the PR in this case might have allowed enthusiasm to run riot with the facts somewhat.

Motorstorm supports the resolution of 720p, which is jolly nice anyway, and a frame rate of 30."

Burnout Dominator Trailer (PS2)

Fragland has posted a trailer from Burnout Dominator.
"We've put a short new trailer of Burnout Dominator on our file servers. The game will be published by EA by the end of March."

Gran Turismo: HD V1.1 Available (PS3)

PSX Extreme has the scoop.
"If you've noticed some extremely awkward lap times in your Gran Turismo: HD sessions, that's because the demo came with a bug that went undetected. The bug is that if you end your race right after the time marker past the tunnel marks your time, the game uses that time as your lap time -- thus skewing the ranks. Until now, moderators have been deleting these skewed numbers, as they usually pop up and then disappear shortly after. The Japanese PlayStation Network Store received GT:HD V1.1 shortly after the original demo was released, but now the North American store has it too."

What's Up?

Buttkissers... Man o man, do I dispise these cats. Every meeting they are the ones, you know, nodding their head in agreement with every word spoken, laughing at the most rediculous joke, it gets old. Very old... But anyways...

I've been on a trail mix binge for a few days now, they are so delicious!

I think I'll be firing up the Wii on Friday for the first time since I purchased it. I hope to get at least a little time in with it before I'm chasing Nat around the house, lol.

Enough about me, what's up with you?

What up?

It's closer to the weekend, and I'm leaving work early tomorrow. We're in the process of re-financing our house, and the appraiser is coming out tomorrow. Once that's complete, we can complete the loan, we'll clear about 10 grand from it, which is all going back into the house to remodel the kitchen. As I was telling you last night, I can't wait

Yeah man, fire up the Wii. I've had so much more fun with the Wii than the 360 and PS3 over the last few weeks, it's hard to even believe.

We finally have snow, but it may warm up today. Next week looks COLD though.

What's up?

Hit the snooze button 2 too many times this morning, and now I'm running late. Still gotta get my bowl of cereal and check out (briefly) the What's Up thread. My morning ritual would not be complete without it!

The game last night was a blowout (UNCG - Virginia Tech) but Aimee's cheerleaders did really well, even making it onto TV (game was on Fox Sports Net).

Tonight, I'll be working LATE night, so no gaming for me this evening. Stinks. I hate those kinda days.

That's all, gotta go to work!

Yeah, you have fun w/ that kitchen project bro. I'm sure you'd much rather create a thousand more Mii's.

Man o man, I hate buttkissers...brown-nosers, kiss-ups, etc. You know, the ones who bring a pen and pad to the metting and write down every single word even the FYI stuff. The ones who sit there wide eyed, open nosed in perfect military style attention and stare directly, almost creepily into the managers eyes. The ones who giggle at the little indirect jokes as if the manager was freakin' George Carlin on the mic. The ones whome when asked about status of a project, give a detailed report as if they rehearsed the entire conversation over and over in the bathroom mirror. The ones who talk as if they were giving a state of the union speech in front of Congress and network tv. You'd almost be convinced that this person genuinely cares about their responisibility to the company. Almost.

This right here describes my douche-bag supervisor. She's such a brown-noser, everybody can smell the fakeness whenever my manager steps within a 10 foot radius of her prescence. She turns on the charm like a Miss America contestant tyring to impress the tv audience after a commercial break. Its sickening. Funny thing is, my manager knows she's a kiss-***. While he probably does award her with brownie points, I know deep down inside, he's probably sickened by the sincere phoneyness. (And yes, thats an oxymoron).

That is all.

What's up? The teaching ranks have the buttkissers too. There are always a few that tell our supervisors everything, thus creating more work for me. I find them to be the ones that are incompetent.

Today is alright though. I was off yesterday taking the wife to her annual checkup, which was great, so that will keep me going for the rest of this week. Coming back into school after the kids had a sub yesterday is usually not the recipe for a good day, but it all worked out and nothing was destroyed. If I can get some PS3/360 time in tonight, I will be a happy man.

What kind of allergies do you have in the Winter?

I have some sort of box set of WWE or WWF DVD's, not sure what it is, it was sent to me in 05'. If you are interested, let me know. You can have them, just pay for shipping. I have no idea how much that would be, but I'd imagine not too much. If interested, I can get the exact box set name for you.

Yeah, I imagine it's pretty bad in the teaching ranks. Which grade/subject was it you teach again?

What's up?

yeah I hate butt-kissers too, but today at work is the day they live for and the day I hate... yearly performance review. *yuck* I always get glowing reviews and crap, but sometimes I feel like I don't get enough recognition as the butt-kisser that sits one cube over from me (who really doesn't always have a clue what going on, but kisses anyone's butt that's nearby). So any minute, I'll have to go in this little room with a smile on my face and talk about all the stuff I did last year to a guy who's responsible for me, but that I haven't really spoken to since last year. At least I'll get a raise out of it, hopefully it will be a nice one. I got a real big one last year but I had to pull teeth to get it, hopefully that doesn't affect this year's raise in order to even things out.

Yeah, that is a very disturbing thing in my office as well. Knowing you do more work than the buttkisser, but somehow, someway, he'll get a bigger raise. Imagine that.

I'd be interested in those dvds Steve, I sent you a PM, If you could just PM the name and If I dont have them I'd take them off your hands no question.

School was pretty uneventful today, I did nothing in Consumer Math, and I developed some film in Photo, but I didn't have time to make any prints, so I'll have to do that next week, the negatives look pretty good though, and I'm hoping whichever photo I choose to make a print out of turns out good.

It's only Thursday, but I'm already wishing it were Sunday so I can watch the Seahawks game. I'm hoping Grossman has another 0.0 QB Rating day.
