NBA 2K7 Graphical Glitch?

PSX Extreme has posted some wierd NBA 2K7 graphical glitches.
"You first make 20 created players (the game's max) and put them on whatever teams you want. Then you take 15 of those created players (If you try to put more than that on a team the game will freeze) and place them on a created team. Write down the names of the 15 created players and their respective teams you put on your created team. Then go find each of those players on their original team and edit them into a new player. Boom you now have 15 additional created players all on one roster file. Now to get all of them into the Association Mode, you need to do a fantasy draft Association."

Virtua Tennis 3 First Impressions (PS3)

Eurogamer has posted their first impressions of Virtua Tennis 3.
"And then, finally, it's time to play the game, and first impressions are that it's exactly as brilliant as all the other Virtua Tennis games: on top of the superb graphics, the gameplay remains as precise and intuitive as it's always been. But of course, now there's the added novelty of Sixaxis controls. If the face buttons aren't your thing, just change control settings and all you have to do is lower your pad to hit a slice, raise it to hit a lob, shake it to hit a top spin shot, and tilt it to move your player. As simple as it all sounds, the Sixaxis controls initially feel like they were added as a novelty, and they take a while to get used to. But actually after warming up with them they seemed to work well enough - though not, crucially, any better, on balance, than using the face buttons (which surely is the point?). Noguchi-san is prepared to concede as much, but describes Virtua Tennis as a testbed for future Sixaxis functionality: "Implementing it was a challenge so probably most players will play with regular key assignments, but we want to do more research on this feature so that it will become a more standard feature in future titles."

What's Up?

Ever have one of those mornings where you simply just don't want to get out of bed? Well, that's every morning for me, but for some reason this morning was extra hard.

Did you enjoy the football game last night? Oh wait, there wasn't one. Seems like there has been at least one football game on every night for the passed 3 weeks.

We are looking at placing Nat in a piano class, just so she is occupied in something. I think she'll love it.

Enough about me, what's up with you?

Hump Day, nothing else really going on. What's in that link about Best Buy dropping prices on PS3 and Wii games? It's blocked at work!

Other than that, same ol same ol. A month from spring training!!

What's up?

Well, my wife is pretty excited. She coaches cheerleading at the HS she teaches at - and tonight, her girls are cheering at the UNC-Greensboro - Virginia Tech hoops game at the Greensboro Coliseum. There should be around 10-15,000 people there for the game tonight (mostly Va Tech fans), so needless to say, she's pretty nervous about it.

Aside from that, I've been cutting down on the amount of fast food breakfast I eat. Wednesdays are now the one day every week I'm allowing myself to grab some breakfast at Hardee's (Carls Jr. for you folks on the Left Coast). They have AWESOME breakfast burritos! So...I'll be swinging by there on my way into work.

That's about all from me...

The Sony PlayStation 3 will see discounted titles from Activision on their Call of Duty 3 title as well as Namco Bandaiís Ridge Racer 7. Both of these games will be sold for $10 under the $59.99 retail price as they will be on sale for $49.99.

Nintendo Wii games will also see a discount. The games included in this discount include Super Swing Golf from Tecmo, a golf game which uses the Wiimote to swing. The other game included in the discount is from Electronic Arts as they will have Need for Speed Carbon being sold at a discounted price. The game titles usually sell for $49.99 but instead will be sold for $39.99, a $10 discount over the usually priced games.
nothing very exciting EG

I know how it is. Sometimes I wake up Grumpy...... but most of the time I just let her sleep in!!! ((Rim Shot))

Thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal. Tip your Mods.

Keeping the kids busy and active is a little tougher in the winter, I know. My girls started their new session of swim lessons last night. They take them at the same place where I work out 4 times a week, so I try to take them to the pool after some of my workouts to let them practice. They love the water... and hey... it's 15 degrees out today... being able to go swimming is a HUGE bonus!

What's up with me...

Mulling over a job offer. Not a great offer... but a great company. It's hard for me to think of leaving my current company right now because things are tough. It's just not my personality (good or bad) to jump ship when it's going down. I feel like I need to stay and fight.

Playing a lot of TEXT BASED sports games lately. Never really been my thing before, but having a lot of fun. Spending the rest of my gaming time with Rainbow Six: Vegas. Again, FPS' are usually not my first choice, but I am digging this game to no end.

Besides that it's mostly the gym and running. Busting my *** to prepare for my first 5K. Need to shave about 6 minutes off my time and still want to drop about 40 more pounds. It's a lot of work, but I am finally starting to get into that mode where I am understanding the whole "runner's high" thing. That really does happen.

Ready to chill and watch some football this weekend. NFL.COM assigned me the COLTS as my bandwagon team... but I am all about the Chargers. Let's go Bolts!

The 2K roster workaround goes back to NFL 2K4. There was a poster here named dz2k (or 2kdz = dave zdyrko 2k producer?) that shared that tip with me through a PM when I was working on the 2K PS2 rosters. You could create a player, move him to a created team, move him to a real team and delete the CAP spot. The player would still exist but you still get to create more players. I don't think this trick worked for 2K5 but apparently it still works on the basketball games.

Very cool for the wifee! Take some pics for Jets and Acid.

I'm not much of a breakfast person myself, I try to eat a bowl of cereal before heading out to work though.

Yeah 70 here on Saturday, but it's about 30 today. We actually had some freezing rain, sleet and snow last night, which lasted for about 10 minutes. It was cool to see the ice build up on the truck as I was driving though.

Swimming in the Winter, what could be better!

I hear ya on jumping ship at that point in time bro. It was a hard decision I made about 5 years ago and I don't regret it one bit. Go w/ your gut, no pun intended. Sounds like you're in shape though, if you're going to do a 5K! Is this your first?

Chargers are getting all the love, I wanna see em' go down. That and because BK likes them.

Thanks Giggas. I responded to the caption which didn't really seem to go with the title for graphical glitches.

We got the new oven and stovetop installed yesterday. We bought a new fridge last year, so the kitchen is looking nice. Of course now my wife wants a new tile floor in there, it never ends. The new stovetop sits deeper than the old one, so now the two cabinet drawers right under it will not slide back in. I should be able to cut down the sides about 1/2" to fix that. And one will need to be shortened. That'll be my project this weekend.

Then last night my car starts making some loud thumping noises. It would stop and seemed to start up sometimes after a right turn. It's a 93 Corolla with 170K. I really like that car so I hope its worth fixing. I brought it to the repair shop this morning and my wife drove me to work.

I got on my wife a little for rushing me out the door this morning when she wasn't quite ready. We get to my office building and now she's all upset and crying about that and then went onto EVERYTHING else that was bothering her, kids, stress, overworked, underappreciated, etc. That's when I have to be mostly quiet and apologetic (even when I think I'm right). After a few minutes she calmed down. I called home 2 hours later and its like nothing happened.

Man, what's with the ugly cats? Somebody check for "6's" behind their ears....shouldn't be hard to do! Why would you want to keep those creatures around. And I'm using the word "creature" in every sense of the word! If I had to take a leak at night, I'd rather clinch my butt cheeks and stay in bed until daylight with those mugs creepin' around at night! YIKES!

What's Up?

School was boring, I had a test in Government, it was easy, I think I passed it. And then we took notes, and I was wishing I were asleep. English, had another test, it was easy as well, and then we read parts of Macbeth.

Overall, a pretty boring school day. Not much else to do today, except I'm gonna go to my friend's soccer game later, and then probably play some Madden.
