NCAA Football 07 Simulates Tostitos BCS Championship Game Florida vs. Ohio State

ESPN Videogames has simulated the Tostitos BCS Championship Game, featuring Florida vs. Ohio State, with NCAA Football 07. Video highlights included.
"Florida led this game at halftime while allowing the Buckeyes just seven points in the first 30 minutes, but OSU's superior talent finally shown through in the second half as they scored three touchdowns after the break to win the 2006 national title, completing an impressive undefeated season. OSU took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter as Troy Smith scored on a 10-yard QB keeper, but Florida followed that with a field goal, and after the teams traded punts twice, the Gators got a touchdown on a Chris Leak pass to Dallas Baker that covered three yards, giving Florida a 10-7 advantage at the break."

What's Up?

Well, at least one of the two NFL football playoff games yesterday was entertaining. I don't know what it is about the Eagles, but I have a gut feeling they are getting to the Super Bowl this year. My predictions very rarely come true, so I guess the Eagle fans can kick me now.

As hard as it was for me to stomach the Cowboys loss to the Seahawks, I actually now want Parcells and T.O. back in the fold next year. Just a few weeks ago, I blabbed on about having Parcells fired. I'd like to see him come back for at least one more season, to straigten things out. What they need is a new defensive coordinator.

Did a lot of cleaning up around the house yesterday and still have a little bit left to do. Didn't game at all this weekend, except for a few games of NBA 2K7 on Friday. Looking forward to the Ohio St./Florida game tonight.

Enough about me, what's up with you?

What's up?

All of my Xmas decorations are down, and the house feels bigger now. Pumped for the game tonight, going to a friends house for a party, at least for the first half, watch the 2nd half at home.

It actually doesn't feel like a Monday, not sure why.

Sitting in my office on another Monday morning....just waiting to watch more football tonight. I don't know if its just me but I wish there was a way that Boise St. would come away national champions. Don't ask me why, because I know that OSU would probably throttle them in a game but damn... they deserve it somehow.

Took all of our Xmas stuff down yesterday, did it all before the games started yesterday. My wife is a big Pats fan and my nephew is a big Eagles fan so both of them were pretty excited about the games.

As far as the game tonight goes, I really have no rooting interest in either team being a big Mich fan. I hate OSU and never really liked Florida, just hope its a good game to watch being a football fan.

I thought I had this cold licked but it grabbed me and held me in its clutches for another week. It was pure hell too! Luckily i'm now safely better now and will be back to my old ways.

As for the weekend...It was pretty much lost due to me being in bed. I missed a couple great games Oh well least i'm well enough to watch the team i'm cheering for this year

GO CHARGERS!

Predictions on the game?

Florida - 27
OSU - 24

I hope for a very close and competitive game, but I doubt it happens.

Yeah, the BCS is a joke. There needs to be a playoff format, but it will probably never happen.

Man, I hope you're wrong. I hate turning off a championship game at the half.

What's up?

We, too, took all of our Christmas stuff down this weekend. It's always nice, getting your living room back to normal. I love Christmas decorations, but they always make your house feel so cluttered. At least I feel that way.

Had a blast with the Wii this weekend. We took it over to another couple's house and had a Wii Bowling Tournament - won by yours truly. I also had all my friends do the Wii Fitness Test. So far, I'm the youngest, weighing in at 27 years old. My wife was 45, my buddy James (former Marine & Purple Heart recipient) was an amusing 65. His wife rang in at 41 years old. She talked all kinds of smack to him about that.

All 4 football games were fun to watch - especially since I don't have a dog in the fight. Steve, I'm with you. I'm thinking the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl after watching that game against the Giants. Who says a backup QB can't win the big one? Just ask Jeff Hostetler (f'ing Scott Norwood! )

Speaking of the Super Bowl, it's that time of year again - time for ESPN to show old Super Bowl highlights all day everyday. I used to get upset watching all of my Bills' Super Bowl defeats, but now, it's just fun to relive the days when my team was actually worth a crap. No playoffs since 1999 - DAMN it's been a long 7 years.

Have mercy, my bandwagon team is the Seahawks.

Well, if they win it all, I can say my favorite team lost to the Super Bowl champs. I guess...

Is the Wii Fitness test on the Wii Sports disc? Man, I need to finally open that system up, lol.

I'm with ya bro, I love watching those Bill's Super Bowl defeats, especially Super Bowl XXVII and XXVIII.

What's up? Same old stuff here. Seems like yesterday was "take down the holiday decorations day". Sitting at work, counting the hours as usual. After watching most of the playoff action, half of my prediction is still true. I think the Colts are going to the bowl. Seems like they may peak at the right time...relatively under the radar this year. NFC is a crapshoot...Maybe Holmgren can coach his team back to the bowl. Why not?

Other than that, a typical weekend with a little bit of gaming (seems like there's never enough time for that). Steve, sorry, but I have a feeling of a Ohio blowout tonight. 42-17? I hope I'm wrong.

EDIT--My bandwagon team is the Colts.

All I want is a good game to watch too...I don't care for either team really.
