Let's Go To The Video Game: Bowl Predictions

Check out Fox Sports Video Game: Bowl Predictions.
"Each week during the college football season, we here at FOXSports.com took part in a social experiment unlike any other. Over the summer, we contacted the folks at NASA, the Centers for Disease Control, and the White House. Each one of them told us it was too risky an endeavor for them to sign off on. But we went forward with it anyway. Week by week, we pit a reader representative, a video game (NCAA Football 07 for the PlayStation 2), and myself against one another to predict the winners of the top ten college football games of the weekend."

GGL and New York Yankee Johnny Damon Launch the Professional Baseball Video Game League

Gameinfowire has the scoop.
"GGL, Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), Boras Marketing and New York Yankee star centerfielder Johnny Damon today announced the formation of the Professional Baseball Video Game League (PBGL), in which some of pro baseball's best players will battle online against each other and their fans. GGL, Boras Marketing and MLBAM have entered into a joint venture to unite the culture of video games with the national pastime.

"The PBGL is not a fantasy baseball league, but rather the ultimate online video competition featuring real MLB players and fans who live for the game," said Ted Owen, Chairman and Founder of GGL. "By bringing together our nation's traditional pastime and the fastest growing entertainment medium in the world, we're striving to make online video game competitions as much a part of American culture as baseball and apple pie."

Wii Sports 2 In Development?

N-Europe has the scoop.
"There's no doubt that Wii Sports has been a massive hit with gamers and non-gamers alike. There's also no doubt that Nintendo are trying to expand in the online aspects of the videogame market, too.

Could a sequel to Wii Sports be on the cards, coupled with online play?"

GT Concept Demo Contents (PS3)

Eurogamer has the goods.
"The free download won't feature online play, series producer Kazunori Yamauchi told Famitsu, but it will offer network rankings based on times achieved in different cars. He also revealed that the demo will include Polyphony's next-gen driving-simulation engine, which aims to fix areas like drift control and drift angle."

Nintendo on Wii Sports 2 Rumor

Eurogamer has the scoop.
"Nintendo has dismissed French reports that Wii Sports 2 is already in development as "pure rumour and speculation". NGC France had reported that a second title may well be in development, perhaps even with swimming, basketball and other sports included. The first title comes free with the Wii in both the US and Europe, while early sales figures in Japan, where it is sold separately, had it as the console's most popular title."

A couple of sites have picked up on a thread (rumor?) posted at Neogaf stating that the xbox 360 warranty will be extended from 90 days to one year. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134888

Update: It's now official A Microsoft press release has confirmed a one year warranty, retroactive. So if you paid MS for repairs/replacement for a less than one year old machine you will be reimbursed.

QOTD: A few last minute gifts to pick up. Lots of wrapping. I love being "Santa", putting out all the gifts after the kids are in bed on Christmas Eve.

I'm going to Kingston, then Richmond, Viriginia, then Philadelphia, then back to Toronto in a span of a week. This is going to be great.

Shoot, just chilling. I got some wrapping of gifts to do for my father, brother and female. I am also going to be going to church tomorrow and performing for the program with my brothers. When night falls tomorrow, I'll be watching a few Sopranos episodes. I'm getting caught up a little and man is it good. Also going to finally get a chance to play College Hoops 2k7 and possibly start a Legacy so I can start an Association within a couple of months after I'm done. Doing house cleaning and then heading to the mall wiht my female.

My sister is coming home today, so probably hanging out with her, and then just playing Rainbow Six and FIFA.

I need to check out that PES demo.

QOTD: Well its Christmas weekend not to mention my sister is moving into her new house so we've got a lot of stuff left to do. And it sucks because all of my friends went back home so I've got nothing but old high school friends here
