For those that celebrate this holiday, we at Operation Sports wish you and yours a very safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Brian Lara Cricket Screenshots (360)

Boomtown has posted some screenshots of Brian Lara Cricket.
"On Xbox 360, Xbox Live gameplay will deliver multiplayer tournaments, including the ICC World Cup 2007 and ICC Champions Trophy 2006, leagues, exhibition and warm up matches. Xbox Live leader boards and specific achievements, such as scoring a century, or winning a match at every ground in the game, will enable players to gain gaming points. Less scrupulous players will also be able to “sledge” their opponents over Xbox Live voice chat, adding a touch of psychology to proceedings and immersing the player deeper still into the match experience. Or you could just chat politely about the weather."

360Monster Update (360)

360Monster has posted the following:
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Update Online
"Konami have announced that an Auto-Update is now available for Pro Evolution Soccer 6. As with all Auto-Updates, just connect to Xbox Live and boot up the game, follow the instructions and you're done. The update itself fixes some online issues with the game."
  • Brian Lara 07 Online Details
"The Ashes haven't exactly got off to the best start from the majority of our points of view, but Codemasters have seen fit to reveal some details about Brian Lara International Cricket 2007's Online features. It's the first time the series has featured Xbox Live Multiplayer.

First up, you'll be able to play the ICC World Cup 2007 and ICC Champions Trophy 2006 Online with up to 16 players and up to eight spectators. You can also play Exhibition, Custom Leagues and Warm Up matches Online."

NHL 07 Patch (PC)

FileShack has posted a patch for NHL 07.
"This NHL 07 patch fixes a desync problem which occurs when a user passes the puck to another player, whilst triggering the pass button again, before the puck reaches the second player. When the desync occurrs, the game loops back to the last face-off situation. This problem only occurs on EASO and some users were able to use this bug as an exploit."

QOTD - going to the in-law's, eating a ton of turkey and watching football. Come home tonight, and watch a Christmas movie, then off to bed. Tomorrow we get our Christmas tree for the living room, the one in our family room is up (artificial tree).

QOTD: Celebrating my first U.S. Thanksgiving in 8 years, super pumped about that.
Watching football, playing online, and eating turkey, greatest day of the year.

Anyone manage to get one of the Xbox 360 systems from Amazon just now? I tried to refresh the page 4 minutes before they went on sale and the page didn't load until 12 minutes later, after they had already sold out. Curses.

Just had a samll earthquake here in Hawaii. No tsunami or large scale damage though. And most importantly, no injuries or fatalities. Guess we do have a lot to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

QOTD: Spent it driving home from Chicago. Tried to get the Amazon 360 deal on the way, started refreshing the page 25 seconds in, wouldn't load for 7 minutes so I gave up on it.

Home safely, and good to hear Hawaiians are OK too.
