WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007 Q&A (360)

Xboxyde has posted a Q&A session with Dan Ryan, the Game Designer of WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007.
Xboxyde: "Will the control system remain as in past games or have any changes been made to further improve it?"
Dan Ryan: "This year we’ve made some radical improvements to the control scheme, as the Right Stick now controls all of the grappling and gives WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 the most intuitive game play experience to date. On top of that, we’ve pushed the boundaries even further with the addition of Ultimate Control Moves, as players now execute entire maneuvers from Repeating Powerbombs to Airplane Spins with the Right Stick and right along with their SuperStars on screen. Just wait until you see how this sense of complete control is utilized with objects in and around the ring via our brand new Environmental Grapples."

ExciteTruck Has MP3 Option (Wii)

Eurogamer has the scoop.
"Rumours that Nintendo Wii launch title ExciteTruck allows for custom soundtracks have turned out to be true, with US review copies revealing the option.

All you have to do is insert is put some MP3 files onto an SD Card and then pop the card into the Wii's SD slot before you start up the game.

Then, before a race begins, press the plus-sign on the Wii remote and you're taken to the Sound Options screen, where you can select SD Card and then browse through the first 100 songs stored on the card."

Excite Truck Impressions (Wii)

Kotaku has posted their impressions of Excite Truck.
"If Excite Truck had an online mode it could easily become the Mario Kart DS for the Wii. But it doesn't. That doesn't mean the game isn't any good, it just means that it has limited life, in my book.

The controls are interesting. You hold the controller sideways, with the D-pad to the left, and turn the remote side to side as if steering a car. While in the air you can also use the controller to change the pitch of your airborne vehicle to make for longer or shorter jumps and softer landings. The one and two buttons are the gas and brake and the pushing anywhere on the D-Pad gives you turbo.

The game is fairly straight forward. You tear around sloppy courses turboing to just shy of exploding your engine. The game awards points for doing tricks, long jumps, smashing other cars, driving between trees and other things. At the end of the race you also get points for your placing. The total is used to determine your rank. To unlock the next cup you need to get a B or better in every race in a cup."

Excite Truck Movie Clips (Wii)

N-Europe has posted two Excite Truck movie clips.
"We're just as disappointed as you guys about the situation regarding Excite Truck. It will be a while before any of us get our hands on it. But, we're human, so we need to get our adrenaline fix from somewhere.

The good news is that we can still get our fix. The bad news is, it is only in video form. But hey, that's the next best thing."

TrackMania United Trailer (PC)

3DAvenue has posted a trailer from TrackMania United.
"Focus Home Interactive today released a new official trailer for TrackMania United, showing off the game's in-game action. The trailer also unveils the new tracks and blocks of the "Stadium" environment."

MotorStorm Delayed (PS3)

Eurogamer has the scoop.
"The pamphlet reveals that despite MotorStorm enjoying a December release in Japan, where the PS3 goes on sale today, it won't be released in the US until February."
