Racing Simulator For Price Of A Car

Aeropause has the scoop.
"If you are a racing fan then boy do we have a setup for you. Available at Costco.com for the meager price of $4499.99 is the "Home Pro Racing Simulation System"...clever name huh. With a price that high you would think that it comes with the TV built in. Nope, the price will only get you the unit itself, you will have to spend another 2k on a HDTV to make this bad boy worth it. Personally I don't care much about racing immersion simulators but if they wanted to send me one free to test I would have no problems with that (crossing fingers)."

FIFA Soccer 07 Hands On Preview (360)

Xbox365 has posted their hands on preview of FIFA Soccer 07.
"The moment I first picked up the controller to try the game out, I honestly didnít know if I was going to find the game fun. I mean, Iíve seen the sport occasionally, its not my cup of tea and I hardly know the rules of it. Talk about intimidating. But as soon as you boot FIFA 07 up, youíre automatically put in the shoes of famed soccer star Ronaldinho Gaucho in a shoot-out with a goalie. No worries, its just a free mode that lets you get acquainted with shooting and what not. You can also access the menu at any time. For me though, this was great because you can go one-on-one with the goalie as long as you want. This allowed me to get use to the control scheme and work on my kicking skillz0rs (which completely and utterly sucked the entire time I was playing."

Question of the Day

How did your team(s) do over the weekend?

Well, T.O. had one of the biggest drops of his career as the Boys lost in D.C. I don't dwell too much on losses, but this one hurts. I didn't expect the Boys to lose this one after whipping the Panthers last week. The Cards are on deck, I suppose a 2-1 road trip isn't all that bad. The Pistons beat the Grizz on Saturday, behind a strong 2nd half by Sheed. They play at Utah tonight, who haven't lost a game.

QOTD: Horrible, Green Bay blew a must win against Buffalo on the road and Wazzu got run over by the worst running team in the Pac 10 at home. Bad weekend for my teams.

Sports weekend sucked in Chicago.
Friday: The Bulls blow a 15 point lead and loose to the Kings.
Saturday: Derrick Rose, a top national recruit from Chicago Simeon high school, decides to take the money and run to Memphis instead of playing for hometown schools like DePaul or Illinois.
Sunday: Devin Hester doesn't realize that YOU DON'T FIELD PUNTS WITHIN THE 10 YARD LINE! Grossman continues to throw off his back foot and throw the other team passes. Berrian gets hurt the first quater. So what does this lead up to? A 31-13 lost to the Dolphins who were 1-6 before the game.

Virginia Tech beat the Canes and Jacksonville beat the tacks.

Good weekend.

Notre Dame win, Detroit Lions somehow beat the Falcons, Pistons won twice and Canton High School won their playoff game 14-10 by forcing a fumble while the other team drove to their 15 with 2:15 left in the game. It's good to go back to the old HS every once in a while.

The Cowboys stink. I hope that the New Jersey con man retires after this season. Parcells is such a fraud. Not to metion T.O. (team obliterator).

I hate T.O. IMO is was a HUGE mistake getting that jackass.

Oh well. Theres always next year...next year...next year...

The Buckeyes survived a scare from the mighty Illini. Tressel went back to his conservative play calling in the second half. Although Illinois did play well and the future looks bright for them.

My Bengals could not overcome a horrible start against the first place Ravens. We will most likely miss the playoffs with a very tough schedule and the Ravens easy schedule. Not lookin good for the home team!

My fantasy team did show up though to move into first place.

Yeh she was in Third Watch (although I never watched it). Right now she is in ABC's The Nine.

Jets on a bye. Knicks are still painful to watch.

On the real local front, my son's H.S football team won their first round playoff game, 40-7. Some real good plays including a 50+ yard TD pass and blocked punt. They go on to play the #1 seed Thursday afternoon at Hofstra University.

What he said. Plus my father's team (church league) blew the heck out the other team who was bigger than them. Amazing too because the asst. coach got into an argument with one of the caretakers of the facility. They were sour and some other stuff. With the Bears, I'm not as hurt because I still don't think Grossman has the fortitude to take presure. Hopefully he works out of that when we head to the New England and the Meadowlands.
