Eurogamer Update (PC, 360, PS2, PS3)

Eurogamer has posted the following:
  • Konami Working on Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Online (PC, 360, PS2)
    "Konami UK has confirmed that it's looking into the problems some gamers are experiencing with online matches in Pro Evolution Soccer 6.

    In a statement released yesterday, the company said it was "aware of problems with the online elements of its Pro Evolution Soccer 6 titles" and offered its apologies.

    It went on to say that it "can reassure fans of the series that we are currently investigating the situation in order to present solutions as quickly as possible."
  • Virtua Tennis PS3 to Use Tilt (PS3)
    "SEGA has revealed that the PlayStation 3 version of Virtua Tennis 3 will support the Sixaxis' tilt function to move around the court and play shots.

    It's an option, obviously, but if you turn it on you'll discover you're able to move the player around the court by tilting the pad."

ProStroke Golf Fact Sheet, Screenshots Released (PSP)

PSP World has posted a fact sheet for ProStroke Golf, which includes a few screenshots.

3D Gamers have posted a demo of Pro Evolution Soccer 6.

Ridge Racer 7 Screenshots and Details (PS3)

Gameinfowire has posted some screenshots and details from Ridge Racer 7.

Kotaku has posted a gameplay movie clip from Tony Hawk's Project 8.
"I am really impressed with the look of Electronic Arts' Playstation 3 games so far. First Call of Duty 3, which is simply sublime, and now Tony Hawk's Project 8, which looks pretty damn hot too."

Sports Titles Help Drive Record EA Sales

GamesIndustry has the scoop.
"The continued strong performance of sports titles has helped Electronic Arts reach new sales records for the second quarter of 2007.

The publisher has revealed that net revenue for Q2 reached US $784 million (EUR 614 million), up 16 per cent from US $675 million (EUR 529 million) in the previous year.

Sports sequels Madden NFL 07, NCAA Football 07, FIFA 07 and NBA Live 07 were the primary sales drivers for the period, said the company."

A lot of the games I'm looking forward to, I'm not getting until Christmas: Final Fantasy XII, Zelda (Wii), Tony Hawk Downhill Jam (Wii), and Guitar Hero 2.
