NBA 2K7: Class is in Session

Shawn Drotar, over at the new 5W-G website, has posted an article entitled, NBA 2K7: Class is in Session.
"In NBA basketball, the "smack talk" has been raised to a high art. This year, NBA 2K7 backed theirs up—literally. The back of the game's box reads "The Next Generation Champion," and 2K Sports has walked the talk.

I'm not afraid to say it: NBA 2K7 is the best console basketball simulation - ever."

Tecmo Super Bowl NFL Week 7 Simulation

The Ex-'Burgher has posted week 7 of his Tecmo Super Bowl NFL Week 7 simulation.
"Anyway, I'm trying something different this week. I've written most of the previews in the normal way (check previous editions for explanations, stupid newcomers), but I've farmed out five games to our loyal readers, giving them a shot at writing previews of their own. These are actual responses from actual readers, and these previews appear below my own writing (including the Steelers game, which appears in the middle this week."

Madden NFL 07 Week 7 Simulation

ESPN Videogames has posted week 7 of their Madden NFL 07 Week 7 simulation.
"Despite each team having some explosive weapons at its disposal, offense was tough to come by in this bitter rivalry, but the Giants put together enough juice on the offensive end to come away with the win. Eli Manning completed only 11 passes for 125 yards but his teammate Tiki Barber shouldered the offensive load, leading a fourth-quarter drive that lasted 13 plays and covered 79 yards before Barber took it in to give the Giants a 24-17 lead. Dallas responded with a field goal but could not get on the board after that."

The First 10 Minutes: Tony Hawk Project 8 Demo (360)

Xboxyde has posted the first 10 minutes from the Tony Hawk Project 8 demo.
"The demo of Tony Hawk Project 8 is finally available on the Marketplace since a few hours. As an (ex)fan of that series, I always try the new episode hoping to find what made Tony Hawk 2 and 3 such awesome games (imho of course), and so far I always found the series was getting worse and worse. And with this demo, surprise! The new trick system and the new graphics engine give me the impression that finally Neversoft got back what made their games shine. I think I've enjoyed this very limited demo more already than the last 3 episodes on the series combined. Can't wait for the final game, hopefully they will have fixed the small issues remaining, especially the framerate not always very smooth, and the buggy ragdolls."

Question of the Day

Do you own a handheld system?

Yup, I have a DS and PSP. Although the DS gets more playing time from my daughter, lol.

QOTD: Uhhh, I had Nintendo DS but sold it a few months after buying it. Just not for a sports junkie such as myself. I do have a Game Gear though! :y4:
