Microsoft Confirms PGR3 Console Bundle (360)

GamesIndustry has the scoop.

As revealed by GamesIndustry.biz, the package consists of the Xbox 360 console, two wireless controllers and copy of Bizarre Creations’ Project Gotham Racing 3."

Gran Turismo's PS3 Future

Boomtown has a story on the PS3 future of Gran Turismo.
"Japanese magazine Famitsu has published an interview with Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi where he lays out the future of the franchise. There's good and bad news for fans of the driving game. A proper GT5 won't be released until late in 2008 - quite a wait."

Eurogamer Update (PS3)

Eurogamer has posted the following:
  • Ridge Racer 7 at PS3 Launch
"Phew. It's all fine. The PlayStation 3 will be a roaring success after all.

That's because according to IGN, which has been rifling through the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, Ridge Racer 7 will be among the games that appear alongside the console at its Japanese launch on 11th November."
  • Gran Turismo HD Gets Release
"Gran Turismo HD will be available for PlayStation 3 after all, according to reports from the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, but it'll be more of a "Prologue" title than anything.

In fact there are going to be two separate game elements on one disc, released in Japan this December, one of which will use the E3 "Gran Turismo HD" demo as a basis for an online multiplayer showcase, while the other will offer a sample of content built to the Gran Turismo 5 spec."

Question of the Day

Who is your surprise team(s) in any sport?

I'd have to say the Detroit Tigers surprised me this year, as well as the 0-2 starts for the Bucs, Skins and Panthers.

1) The Chicago White Sox - In a negative way. Not only we're not making the playoffs BUT we're going to finish 3rd in the division.

2) The Chicago Bears - Watching the defense play these last two games reminded me of a defense that played in 85......if you know what I mean.

The huge one for me is the Florida Marlins. Nobody saw that coming.

Vikings and Tigers for me. Vikings have performed well so far and the Tigers of course came out of nowhere.
