It was the wrong thing to do (obviously), but it looked freakin' cool!

He just got emotional, I can't blame the guy for having a competitive fire!

Anyway, that PS2 ad was just craziness...

I laughed. Look at the size of his head though, looks like a freakin battering ram.

Being an italian, i couldnt have been happier, although it is ashame he will likely be remembered for that by the masses rather than the amazing things he did on the pitch over the past decade.

I don't follow soccer, but are you allowed to pull the shoulder down on a defender to gain an advantage over your opponent for a header? It was fairly obvious on that goal from Italy.

You're allowed to do anything that doesn't get called by the ref.

QOTD: I thought it was hillarious since i didnt know the reason of it or anything else in that game since i had a game myself.

QOTD: Classless

Supposedly, Materazzi made a comment about Zidane's mother, and called his family a bunch of terrorists (since Zidane is Arab).

In that case, I'm fine with the headbutt.

Wow, really?

No problems with the headbutt at all if what Acid said is the truth.

He potentially cost his country and team the world cup, becuase of a slur used in the heat of battle? I hate to say it, but much much much more worse things are said during sports games between players, but most people have enough class and pride in what they are doing to let it go, especially someone of his status. It was a great move by the italian side then if they riled him up enough to get that type of reaction out if him. You do what you have to do to win, and there is no foul in talking smack.
