Brand new baseball simulation gets its release

Wednesday 7th June, 2006 - Sports management development specialists Sports Interactive has celebrated last weeks release of Out of the Park Baseball 2006 by today providing a fully functional, time limited demo, as well a Mac version of the game.

Available via digital download only, the London-based studio, who are the masterminds of both Football Manager (known as Worldwide Soccer Manager in the Americas) and NHL Eastside Hockey Manager, have also today released the first patch for the game based on feedback from the community.

“The response following the games launch has been nothing short of amazing” said Marc Duffy, Product Manager at Sports Interactive. “Two years of hard work have certainly paid off and the game certainly takes baseball simulations to a whole new level”

"OOTP Baseball 2006 is by far and away my most ambitious game ever” commented Markus Heinsohn, Lead developer of OOTP Baseball Manager. “Working with the Sports Interactive team has meant that I have been able to create a truly engrossing experience for casual and hardcore baseball fans alike."

Definitely worth it. Check out the link in my sig and click on "Full Reports" to see some of what this game is capable of. As Sully said, this game is incredibly deep. We have a league of mostly OS users starting up. It might be fun for some of you to follow along.
