Major League Baseball 2K6 Fix Coming Soon? (360)

2K Sports has announced that the Major League Baseball 2K6 patch is coming very soon, April 26th, if all goes well.
"In order to receive the Title Update online you will need to connect your Xbox 360 up to a network connection. A Title Update will be available on Xbox Live free via the Xbox 360 Live Silver service that comes with every Xbox 360. You are not required to have an Xbox Live Gold account to download this Title Update. Once you are connected to Xbox Live, you will just need to insert your Major League Baseball 2K6 game into your Xbox 360 console and a prompt will come up regarding an update available for this game. You can then select “Yes, update now” and the Title Update will be applied to your console."

QOTD - The Revolution will be huge IMO. Totally different controller, and the fact of all the old Nintendo, Genesis, and Turbografix games... SOLD. It'll be my only other next gen system.

if the control actually works good, then it will be a boom. I just cant see how you are going to play games like madden and such with it, as you wouldnt use its IR technology, but rather more like a traditional controller. When it comes to games where traditional controllers need to be used, they need something else, like a gamecube controller u can hook up.

Revolution will revolutionize video gaming as we know it (pun definately intended).

QOTD: Me thinks it will bust. With the PS3 and 360 out there offering up the latest greatest graphical enhancments and techie junk, the Rev has no room in the market to thrive. Yes, the kiddie market may be on lock but if they churn out games at the rate that the GC was doing, its going the way of the Virtual Boy.

The controller sounds nifty but in the end it'll be just another gimmicky controller that wont have much game support. Most ppl will probably go back to the GC controllers...which sucked already.

The classix cataloge sounds dope but you guys are kidding yourselfs if you really think you'll sit around and attempt to beat Metroid 1 and Double Dragon all over again.

The Gameboy will forever be Nintendo's money maker, everything esle will be an afterthought. I do know a few who said there would get it but these are the same ppl who had a GC collecting dust particles in a corner somewhere. The cheaper price point will be tempting to parents but you best believe little timmy(TIMMYYY!!) will want to get his hands on a PS3. It may start off strong but will fizzle its way out of exsistence by the 3rd fiscal year.

Thats my thoughts. Most will disagree I know but I still say most of you should be out of that kiddie game stage by now. You all may still want to hold onto those fond memories of Zelda and Mario but please, just let go. There are many game out there that offer the same gameplay with less cuteness.

QOTD: I think the Revolution will neither be a boom or a bust. I don't think people are going to flock to it like it's [insert something really popular here]. On the other hand, I don't think it's going to fail.

I know I'll definitely give it a try (somewhere, somehow, muhahaha!) and I'm interested in it. But I'll stick with an XBOX 360 or PS3.
