Yahoo! Videogames Previews (PSP, PS2)

Yahoo! Videogames have posted previews of the following games:
  • ATV Offroad Fury Pro (PSP)
"Let's get to the most important details first. Offroad Fury Pro will include online play for up to four players in infrastructure and ad hoc wireless modes, as well as support for chat and headset peripherals. In addition, there will be a host of all-new tracks including a number of classic courses from the original trio of PlayStation 2 ATV Fury games. If you own both Pro and the PlayStation 2 game, ATV Offroad Fury, you'll be able to play PSP-only tracks on the PS2 version of the game as well as exchange upgraded vehicles, share trading cards, and communicate with Offroad Fury 4 players via online e-mail and message boards."
  • ATV Offroad Fury 4 (PS2)
"Expanding the scope of the off-road genre a bit, Offroad Fury 4 adds dune buggies, MX bikes, and trophy trucks to the standard lineup of four-wheel ATVs found in the game. In our hands-on experience with the game, it was very obvious that the Climax developers have focused on making sure that each vehicle type handles authentically, without losing the arcade approachability that defines this pick-up-and-play game style. Trucks and buggies feel weightier in turns and less agile around tight corners; at the same time, they are capable of higher speeds on straightaways and less susceptible to lap-destroying spills if they are sideswiped by an opponent. The pros and cons of the buggies and trucks, as well as the nimble ATVs and MX bikes, are a balancing act that plays an essential role in Offroad Fury 4's gameplay."

Kingdom Hearts II and MVP 2005. I wish I had more time to get in some games on MVP 06 and MLB 2k6.

QOTD: Right now, it's MLB 2k6 for XBOX. I'm still trying to decide if I can go a full 162 games with it. Basically, I'm trying to judge if the questionable fielding (double play balls almost exclusively) are too much to handle.

Before I got the game, however, I was playing a ton of NHL 2k6 (finished up a season and a month into Season 2) and MVP 2005 (trying to finish up Season 1).

QOTD: MLB 2K6 for PS2

For all the warts of this game it's still VERY enjoyable. It's actually more of a challenge for me this year then it was last year where i'd easily win 95 games with the Nationals for crying out loud!

So on that basis alone this game is challenging and fun!

MLB 06 The Show

I'm 2 series away from the All Star game (play a game a series)
At this rate I'll be finished a season before June and is also the main reason why I haven't bought a 360 yet.
