Article: World Cup Fever Arrives at Video Games

The Korea Times have posted an article entitled, World Cup Fever Arrives at Video Games.
"Though both ``Winning Eleven'' and ``FIFA Soccer'' series provide great graphics, smooth animation and fun gameplays, they focus on different characteristics with different features.

Developed by Japanese firm Konami, ``Winning Eleven'' puts an emphasis on realistic gameplay. Gamers can control every aspect of the game and can easily apply various tactics and formations without interrupting the game.

Also, it gives a more dramatic feeling than the ``FIFA'' series as it is relatively hard to score a goal in ``Winning Eleven.'' For this reason, some hardcore gamers find it less interesting than ``FIFA.''

In contrast, ``FIFA'' is much more like a conventional American style video game. With its easy controllability, beginners can quickly learn how to play it and goals are more abundant than in ``Winning Eleven."
