QOTD: I think "Sonic the Hedgehog" could be really sweet in a Next-Next Gen format. That was such an amazing game when the Genesis launched. It took gaming to a new speed that I had never seen before.

Good call on Sonic, Clay.

I beat Sonic Adventures on the Dreamcast, amazing game.

Hmm, I'd probably say Pilot Wings, that was such a badass game for the SNES.

I'd like to see Next Gen Tecmo Bowl myself. Make it Xbox Live compatible, so we could set up tournaments and leagues, etc. Of course we can't use the NFL player names, but I think it would still be fun, especially if they give us the ability to edit everything and use those edits online.

Yes Steve... that's what I want to see too. I just whipped out the NES the other day and played some old school Tecmo, lol. It's still a blast to play.

I wish VC could get the rights to make a Techmo Bowl game... that'd be sweet.

A next-gen Super Mario Brothers

With the characters in the series, and the environments, the game has the potential to be beautiful.

If we're talking sports title, I'd go with EG's suggestion of Baseball Stars...loved that game.

I think a Mario Kart game could be a blast for next gen systems.. in addition to just a regular Mario game... I love mario kart though, that game is a blast..

I think Clay's spot-on with Sonic, if it can be done right. Keep it 2D, keep it about speed, don't make it a Mario clone.

I'd pick an old PC title: the Gabriel Knight series. I loved those games, and would love to see a Condemned-style update.

Even though the NFL license is owned by EA, I would love to see another Tecmo Bowl.

Mario Brothers but without gimicky stuff like Mario Sunshine. I want to see them go back to their platforming roots as much as possible. As far as sports games go I think Tecmo Bowl would be cool or even an updated Blades of Steel.

You didn't like Mario Sunshine? I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm not sure what all a next-gen system could bring to Mario if they reverted to the older style, but I do think it could bring lots to the 3D enviroments like Mario 64 and Sunshine.

But, if you do want the old style Mario in a new game, if you have a DS, check out this upcoming game: New Super Mario Bros

QOTD: Crazy Taxi with souped up graphics that also allows for online play. Plus, add a good ten different cities to keep the game from being too repetitive.

Earthworm Jim -- think of it in full 3D. I loved that game on the old Genesis and I especially appreciated the warped humour. TO me it's high time that EWJ made his triumphant return

The only improvement needed would be to bring those old 32 bit graphics into the new age of polygonal graphics

Have fun...........
