News Post

Wow. We had a bunch of OS'ers playing last night didn't we? Was it Madden 06? NBA 2K6? Maybe College Hoops 2K6? Nope, it was definitely GRAW. We had an absolute blast last night. I can't believe I was online for 2 solid hours trying to throw grenades at myself.

Anyways, I was so involved in GRAW last night, that I didn't catch the end of the Pistons game, glad they pulled it out. I caught the highlights as Gordon was pulling out all the playground shots and they were dropping left and right, it would have been interesting if he didn't turn it over at the end of the game.

Question of the Day: On a percentage basis, how much do you play sports games, compared to non sports games?

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
vlad, thehiz (30), A.M. Son (27), ronnyballgame (24), davewins (23), electrolyte (22), jardy (19), NYRangers31 (18), nickpappas1 (16)

Let's see if I can dig up some news this morning. Enough about me, what's up with you?

GRAW is just unbelievable. I love it. Thank you Ubisoft, for delaying it and making it the killer app that it is.

QOTD: I'd say I play 30% sports games and 70% non-sports.

GRAW sounds like so much fun online. Too bad I have a stupid Econ test to study for. If it werent for that I'm sure I would have played until about 3 AM. I really need to get in on some of these games I think. The little bit I did play was offline and the game is amazing.

I made the mistake of telling my GF about the game and she wanted to play it. When I actually let her play she got upset and when I asked her why she wanted to know where all the Ghosts were like Casper and all...

QOTD: I'd say I play around 65% of my gaming goes to sports and 35% to Non-Sports gaming. It really depends on how the football and baseball games are though.

Detroit got lucky. At least the Bulls are playing consistent basketball. Hopefully it'll carry forward for the rest of the season.

QOTD: Probably split about 50/50

Currently still enjoying spring break at my girl friend's apt. Not doing anything but watching sports and occassionally studying just so that I don't forget anything when school starts back up. I got College Hoops the other day and just can't justify dropping another 60 on GRAW. I could trade in Madden or Fight Night or both and get it for free. My girlfriend even offered to pay half but I just can't take her money, although hearing all the good impressions is wearing on me. (Thanks guys)

QOTD 90% sports games, 10% non-sports games

A good first day of the Big East tourney yesterday. This is the 2nd straight year I'm missing it after going to eight straight.

UConn comes on in an hour, I can't wait. The BET is a huge indicator for us, the two years we won a National Title we also won the Big East Tournament.

QotD: 100% sports games for me.

GRAW was awesome last night. Skerik vs. the Rocket Launcher(Steve) was probably the funniest thing I've seen in a while, oh and Sully getting worked by a rebel bot was pretty embarrasing.

QOTD: I'd say 75% of my gaming is the sports variety while the other categories would occupy 25% of my gaming time.

Looking forward to fraggin y'all tonight.

Well, I'm happy cause of the Cavs win last night, but I'm still pissed about some personal issues, oh well.

QOTD: If it wasn't for Halo 2, I'd say it'd be 90% sports games, but with Halo 2, its about 50%/50%. Even with all of the new games for 360, I still love playin Halo with my buddies

QOTD: If it weren't for Guitar Hero, I'd be playing almost exclusively sports games.

Things are calm around here, it's been a low-key spring break for me.

Well, to recap a day that was yesterday. GRAW was the only good thing that happened yesterday for me. Seemling everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Yeah, I had the job interview Monday... I was supposed to hear back yesterday. Well, about 3:30, finally I call in and thank them for allowing me to come in, and considering me for the position (thinking, alright, well now they're going to offer me the position, lol). Turns out, It was narrowed down to two people, me and a 46 year old woman. The place only has 12 employees, all male. After I found out I was against a woman, I knew I wouldn't get it because of EOE... turns out, that I had the best interview, and the most backing from the other employees... but still wasn't hired because the woman was going to file suit. I have never been so dissappointed...
So I come home, and expect to see my dog that I found just 2 days ago... Call out his name..... Nothing. It turns out, he's gone again, and still not back this morning. So now my dog's gone, my job stays the same... and my grandmother is having heart problems to top it off.
So, to make light of things, at least I got to blow some stuff up last night on GRAW. Without it... I would have been a wreck. :y4:

QOTD: Probably 85% Sports, 15% Non Sports... after GRAW though, I'd say 94% GRAW/6% Everything Else.

GRAW GRAW and more GRAW

Im mostly sports game and this is most of the time one of the few non-sports games I buy.

I can say im well pleased and boy was it a blast.

Pretty soon, we're going to need 2 or 3 more people hosting all OS co-op games at once. I know what I'll be doing this weekend

Maybe you should consider a career switch...like writing country music lyrics. Sorry to poke fun, but after reading your post a few days ago it seemed like everything was on the up and up. That sucks man, all I can say is bottle that aggression up inside of you and hold it until GRAW tonight, then UNLEASH THE FURY MITCH!

If you can fit in my backpack I will take you carry on bro. Or we could share a sweater and say we are siamese twins.
