Exclusive Hands On Nintendo DS Lite Impressions

GameAxis has gotten its grubby little hands on the upcoming Nintendo DS Lite and posted some impressions of it.
"With our initial inspection finally over, it was time to power up the device and judge for ourselves one of the most touted selling point of the new product which is basically the brightness setting which is supposedly four times brighter than Version 1 and is adjustable to boot. Honestly, as soon as the light came on, our current DS simply paled in comparison. The lowest brightness setting of the DS Lite matches that of Version 1 and once we tweaked it to the highest capacity, it reflected a luminous glow upon our faces. That's how bright it was which also makes for richer colours on-screen and only when you see the two compared side by side will you understand why it makes a world of a difference and you'll be hard pressed to go back to the older and soon to be obsolete version of the DS."
