Dan's All-Star game is tonight, it should be fun. He's really excited about it. Wish him luck!

I am getting my *** handed to me in Fight Night Round 3. I think I'm now 17-4, as I lost 2 fights in a row before going to bed last night. Sorry for the people that tried to send me invites, but I was focused on losing, unfortunately.

What did you think of the Bonds "Idol" spoof? I thought it was funny, I'm glad someone is finally bringing out a little fun in the Giants clubhouse. As much as a lot of people hate on Bonds, he's still my favorite baseball player.

The Lakers are over .500 and Kirk Hinrich was 1 assist shy of a triple double, what?!?! Has he had one in his NBA career? Detroit plays in Denver tonight, should be a great game. They then travel to Seattle and finish the week off with the Lakers in L.A.

Question of the Day: Do you have a Mac or PC?

QOTD: Mac

I just want to say how happy I am for Dan. I was a high school player, but I never started or anything like that and I wish I had an outlet like Dan has to actually play....and even make an all-star game!

I like the new Xbox.com friends list showing gamer score. Pretty cool.

It's hump day, I'm tired, and I wish it was Friday. I'm also dying for baseball, may pick up MLB 06 today. Got 24 last night, and so far it's great.

PC, not much going on today.

Can't wait until Friday! Why? I'm off Saturday

Mavs at Spurs tonite on TNT. How will Barkley trash the Mavs tonite. If we win, i'm sure it'll be "well, this game didn't mean anything!" Which really in the grand scheme, it doesn't. However, confidence goes a long ways.

QOTD: Mac (4 of them)

We just won our first regional tournament game for HS boys hoops last night 63-43 and now travel to Madison Saturday to play the #4 team in the state in Division 1 and defending state champions. Going to have to start scouting and helping with the practice planning for this one!

Awww, don't start on Kirk. If you're looking for a trivia fact, try this: Who was the only rookie in the Carmelo, Lebron, Kirk year (was it 2 years ago?), to get a triple double. Answer: Kirk Hinrich. I think I heard on ESPN that it was 2 years to the day yesterday.

Here's hoping that today goes quickly...

QOTD: PC - 2 of them

Hinrich is a stud! And no, it's not because he's a Jayhawk alumn. Well, maybe that has a little to with it! He goes all out on every play like it's college basketball. He's a gamer.

C'mon Barry "Cream" Bonds is your favorite ballplayer? Alright alright, for a while McGwire was my favorite ballplayer, but it's painfully obvious McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro, and BONDS cheated! Heck, Barry admitted to it. In any case, I could never ever root for that guy. His home run records ought to have a HUGE asterick by them. That's another discussion, so I'll get off my soap box.

What level are you playing your career mode in FN3? I'm playing on the default level, and so far I'm 13-1 with 13 KOs. I ran in to a buzz saw once against some dude named Aaron Wolfe. Flattened me in the first twice. Other than that, my fights have been relatively one side for the most part. I'm starting to get tagged more and more though of late. By the way, am I the only one who's having trouble with the combo dummy? I can do the other two training excercises with no problem, but the combo dummy is making me look like a dummy.

Mac all the way! I was a loyal PC user for over 20 years, but I bought my first Mac last summer and it's been heaven ever since. It's amazing how much easier it is than the PC to use. And talk about reliability! No viruses or pop ups. It's bliss.

Congrats to Dan for making the All-Star team. That's awesome. Does he have another year of high school to make the varsity team?

Have a great day!

Strange day today.

I've been in a weird mood today. Kind of freaked out. My wife was telling me a story last night about a co-worker's Son-In-Law who they buried yesterday. He was 43 years old. Healthy. Stood up in his living room the other day and dropped dead. Autopsy showed NOTHING. No heart issue. No aneurism (sp?). Nothing. Unexplainable. 43 years old. 4 young kids. Dead. That's got me all creaped out about the temporary nature of life. It's like a comedian said once, "We all die suddenly... you're alive...you're alive... you've alive... you're dead." Kind of true, but man... that has me freaked today.

It's my Dad's B-Day today. He's 63. Cancer Survivor. Stroke Survivor from just 8 months ago. Golfing 5 days a week. That's what I hope for.

I have a PC (and a half). One needs a new power supply, but I'm too lazy to go pick one up.

Week has been crazy.

Our tennis team got raped by University High School in Irvine. Varsity lost 18-0 and JV lost 17-1, it's staggering how bad we were. :y4:

Came home during Tutorial (right now), it's a half hour break between zero period and first period. I was starving so I'm home to get some food and then head back for US History and Chemistry. I have a test today for Chem..I'm pretty confident that I'll do well.

QOTD: PC.

What's totally odd about that. We just got word that a programmer that works on our team in Colorado Springs died last night due to heart issues. Survived by his wife and 2 young kids. He was late 30's. Scary...

Something the last week has really hit me in this regard. That is the temporary nature of life. I've been really struggling with these thoughts and the idea that I won't live forever. It's got me freaked out as well.

QOTD - 2 PC's and 3 laptops. All of the laptops are wireless, but I really only use one of them everyday.

Thanks, I'll let him know you said that. I wish they had this sort of thing when I was playing as well, I was surprised when he was approached for it, since it wasn't expected.

Barkley won't be saying anything about it tonight, since they play tomorrow.

4 Macs? Nice. I've been thinking of getting one, just to play around with. One of those mini-macs, since they are rather inexpensive. Are they any good?

Congrats to your team bro! Good luck against the defending state champs!

Oh no, I was talkin' trash about Kirk, I think he's a fun player to watch. I was just curious if he'd ever had a triple double. He's a pesky little dude.

Not too much planned for the day. I have a lunch date this afternoon, and later today I need to study my *** off. I have two tests on Thursday that I have completely neglected to study for, so I plan on studying later today, later tonight, and tomorrow morning. But I should do alright, I am getting A's in both courses. Com245 and Adv380.

Oh, and I have also decided I need to get a haircut. My hair is getting really long, and I like it, but I think its time for a change.

# 19 Sully @ 03/01/06 12:53 PM
Good luck to Dan, Steve. Tell him it's the All-Star game, it's OK to hog the ball.

I finally got my 360 back. I sent it out last Wed., so a one week turnaround isn't bad at all. The system is much quieter, you can definitely notice the difference. Just finished playing some Fight Night 3. Awesome graphics, and I like the way the game plays thus far. I'm getting ready to dive into the career mode, then hop online with it tonight.

I have 4 PC's. 2 desktops, and 2 laptops...although one of the laptops has a cracked monitor.

LOL, I figured you'd chime in on the Hinrich blurb.

Personally, I really don't care about the whole steroids thing. MLB should have done something about it a long time ago. They didn't so, oh well. If an asterisk is next to the record, I'm fine w/ that. I don't care if he gets the record or not, he's still my favorite baseball player. Cheater or not. BTW, Will Clark when he played for the Giants was my favorite player before Bonds, if anyone cared.

I'm doing the Welterweight division. Sugar Ray beat me last night before I went to bed in a split decision. He was blocking everything I threw at him, it seemed. As for the combo dummy, I'm decent at it, but my trainer always complains that I'm too slow. I do the buttons fast, I'm not sure why it's so slow. Oh well.

Do you have one of those mac-mini's?

Thanks bro, I'll let him know you wished him luck. He'll be a junior next year and he's looking forward to getting a starting spot on the varsity squad. He said he's going to train all spring and summer for it, we'll see if that dedication pays off and he sticks to his word.
