Man, the Pistons upset me yesterday. They were up 13 going into the 4th and pretty much manhandled the Heat up to that point. That's when Wade took over, he torched them and hit the game winner with just over 2 seconds left. Props to the Heat and Wade, but if the Heat need that kind of magic to beat the Pistons, they'll get swept.

I was in and out of the Pro Bowl yesterday, what did you think of it? I thought it sucked, honestly.

I've been playing around with the 24/7 mode in NBA 2K6 lately. I can't believe how much I've played it, lol. My player is rated an 84 right now and I just beat Ben Wallace in one on one, Ben ain't got nothin' on me!

Question of the Day: What is the toughest position to play in sports?

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!

Enough about me, what's up with you?

What's up! I hate Monday's...

I played a buddy of mine in NBA2K6 online last night, I was the Lakers, and he was the Raptors, so I decided to have Kobe take every shot. He took every one but 1, as Lamar Odom had a tip in...but Kobe still scored 101 points! LOL Shot 43 of 69 from the field. Dumb Phil Jackson took him out, with 24 seconds to go, and Kobe having 98 points! I was like, WTF? The entire city of LA would kill him! LOL So, I called time out, got Kobe back in, to sink a 3 pointer as time expired.

I slept in on Sunday

I did watch the Raptors maul the Trail Blazers tho. You gotta love it when the home team beats the bejesus out of their opponents. As I said late last week i'm going to see Pink Panther today and will give my thoughts on the movie afterwards.

QOTD: I believe catcher is the hardest position in sports. It leaves the legs with a lot of wear and tear and is easily the most exhaustive of positions. A good catcher has to be someone with the concentration to stay in the game, have a knowledge of every hitter on the opposing teams, be able to have a good working relationships and know the stuff of the entire pitching staff AND have a good enough bat to stick in the major leagues!

The question is, did you win or lose?

What's up! I hate Monday's! I tuned in to the Pistons/Heat just in time to see Wade put up the last 7 pts! Unbelieveable! Glad to see Detroit lose a couple now the race is on for the Spurs, Mavs, and Pistons for best record in the league.

The weekend flew by. What is the deal with this all the time. Just about everybody i've talked to this morning felt like we were just here. Oh well, another day, another dollar. Good thing we have a 3-day weekend this week. God Bless President's Day on Monday!!!!! W00T!!! I love the president!!

Toughest in pro sports would have to be the Quarterback.

Question of the Day: What is the toughest position to play in sports?

Has to be qb. So much planning and the game is literally flying all around you and attacking you from every aspect.

No school today for Washington's Birthday, which is odd..but I'm not complaining.

Toughest position, probably Quarterback.

I think I'm gonna go out and get some donuts in a minute, that sounds awesome. Oh yeah, Steve...I'm gonna contact ESPN to possibly get some workout tips from Suzy Kolber.

It's Monday, I've had the flu since last Thursday but it's slowly getting better. Today is going by fast at least though.

Huge game tonight - UConn at Villanova. Should be the best regular season game so far this year. I have an adult league game tonight though so I'll miss a majority of the game.

Toughest position to play? Probably QB, but to play Devil's Advocate I'd say catcher. Probably because I'm tall and have a bad back and couldn't imagine crouching for three straight hours a day all damn summer. Foul tips, getting hit by the bat sometimes, getting barelled over, etc. Plus you still have to call the game if your manager gives you that responsibility.

Today is Lincoln's birthday. Washington's birthday is the 22nd. I suppose you school kids get that day off as well?

I'm gonna be a little biased because I played it, but I'm gonna go with being a center in football. You have to worry about the snap count, making some pre-snap adjustments, snapping the ball, blocking assignments, having one or two behemoths beating the hell outta you (especially your head), and the blitzing LBs. It isn't easy, trust me; I have all the respect in the world for college and NFL centers.

Toughest position to play in sports? Probably QB. Its easily the most important, and its not like other positions where you learn a scheme and can handle your own without chemistry. You have to be used to everyone on the offense. Plus, you have the most pressure on you and get all the blame/glory.

Well, my donut quest was halted when I couldn't find my keys. Somehow, they got behind my bed and I was looking for like 45 minutes trying to re-trace my steps. :y4:

So, I got some donuts and a Monster energy drink, which will come in handy when I go to the Honda center to get my car serviced and I have to wait around for an hour or so, I'll probably bring a few of my SI's with me and read those.

Snow Day!!!

Can't wait for tonight, Uconn and Villanova should be a great game, and after that is 24.

I put my Xbox up on ebay yesterday, and somebody sent me this email:
"Hello seller,
Am willing to purchase your item at the rate of $500 on eBay and will be ready to make the immedaite payment of this item through Money-Gram,so i want you to end the auction for me.I will be shipping the item to my daughter who is celebrating her 19th birthday in Africa,so i will want the item to be shipped through FedEX ,so get back to me with your name, full contact address so that i can make payment fast.
Best regards..."

Not sure what to make of that, they either have to be confused, or are trying to scam me. It's just an xbox, controller, and dvd kit. I think I'm just going to ignore them.

And the toughest position to play is probably QB, but to be different I'll say PG. They have to handle the ball most of the game, make quick decisions, and basically be the coach on the floor, without getting to stop after every play.

Re: QOTD? I'd have to say Catcher. No other player in baseball is involved in every play like the catcher is, and it is also the most demanding physically. They have so much more responsibility than any other player in terms of preparation and scouting, not to mention the abuse they take. They're crouched the entire game, constantly getting hit by foul tips, bats, have to block the plate when a runner is coming home, etc.

I'd say QB is up there as well in terms of the combination of mental and physical toughness, but I'm biased towards baseball.
