The snow is here, the weatherman was right!...or not... As always, the weatherman was wrong. I was "supposed to see some snow on the ground when I woke up this morning. Well, I don't see any, shocker.

Anyways, Dan's basketball playoffs start and end today. They'll play all the games until there is a winner, wish them luck!

The Pistons won again last night over the Magic. I can't wait until Sunday for the Heat game.

Question of the Day: Do you trust your weatherman?

In other news...Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
Sammich (30), Goldmember2 (27), JGama (21)

Enough about me, what's up with you?

I usually don't trust my weatherman. It seems like 10% of the time that they're actually right.

Our high school basketball team was in the City Championships last night. We came in as an underdog, although we were ranked 3rd. Most teams didnt think we were as good as our rankings told us, so that gave us something to prove. We won Thursday night in the Semi-final to a team that beat us by 25 in the regular season. It was a great feeling, but unfortunately we were'nt able to over come the #1 ranked team in the city last night. Last time we played them it went in to double OT, with them winning by 3. This time we lost by about 15. I played all the way until midway 3rd quarter, when I picked up my 4th foul. The refs were calling the touchiest calls. It really hurts to end such a great season on that note.

School is done for an entire week. We have the mid-term break coming up and I'm going to use it to catch up on sleep. It's going to be fun to just be able to relax, except those F'ing teachers think it's a good idea to give out big assignments over the break. Schools become such a chore.

Steve I love reading about your never ending quest to prove your weatherman wrong! It's hilarious! Living in Minnesota you can't trust anything to do with the weather at all. Also I was really disappointed when I clicked that link about Jessica Alba being in Playboy. It should be against the TOS to get a person's hopes up like that

Well, you still have to keep your head up. Getting to the Finals of any championship is hard to do. Congrats on a great season, good luck next year! What position do you play?

I figured I'd get at least one response from that link, lol.

It's still extremely dissapointing to not be able to come through for the school. Our school is usually one of the worst teams in the city athletically (our basketball team finished last in the city last year). I finished with a season-low 4 points in the biggest game of the year.

I'm a wing, so like a 2/3. I also played 1 for some of the year.

It snowed here Steve. In fact, that's why I'm home. I'll explain.

We had a 2-hour drive from Blacksburg to Martinsville. Before we left, we heard that we would be staying in a hotel and the concert would be the next day at 5. When we got on the bus, our choral director heard from some authority figures in the county and they said that we were going to come home at 8 that day and not be part of the concert. We started going a bit, and then we heard from the superindentent that we were going as planned. Then, the people at All-District changed the schedule, saying that we were going to have the concert a day early at 8. So we had about 5 or 6 hours of work, and put on the concert, performing 6 of our scheduled 7 songs. There was a song that had 4 movements and we only did 2.

I didn't make All-Virginia, but I'm OK with it. I knew I blew the sight-singing, and I was disappointed in myself cause when I was practicing it, I did it better than when I sang it for them. It was bad.

Just got up, we got home around midnight, and I checked out Smackdown... Some things on that show were off. I'm getting really sick of rKo, and Rey gave him a deserved beating.

Anyway, going to chill and do nothing today.

Well, just look forward to next year and keep practicing that J and you'll be back again. It will probably take a while to get over this loss, but it will only make you stronger.

Sounds like a hectic day bro. We just found out that they cancelled the basketball playoffs for Dan, for all the snow we have! We have NONE, wow. So now I get to do some chores, YIPPEE!

No I don't trust my weatherman. In fact there is/was a weatherman who's very notorious in Toronto for being completely wrong. I'm not sure if he actually still does the weather cuz I haven't seen him on TV in ages. His name is Harold Hossein. The guy seems very nice and all but 9 times out of 10 whatever he says never materializes.

As for me, I seem to be having some knee pain I don't know what it is either because when I go to bed and wake up it's fine but as the day progresses it gets worse. I may be going to the doctor this week to get my ears blown out (you know get wax out) and i'll ask about it if the knee continues to be like this.

My knee is the exact opposite. It kills me in the morning, but as I go throughout the day, it eases off. Just a tip, if you do leg raises...meaning...sit on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you. Lift the leg that hurts, keeping the knee straight. Just lift your foot off the floor about 5 inches and squeeze your thigh muscle. Do this maybe 20 to 30 times. Rest. Do 2 more sets and see how it feels. The docs always tell me to do this when my knee hurts and it actually works.

Buenos Dias! Well, I watched the Mavs 13 game win streak get snapped last night by the Nugs. The Mavs played very careless coming off a back to back. Oh well, the streak had to come to an end. We're going to have to keep winnnig to keep pace with the Spurs. The way the divisions are now aligned, if we don't win the SW Div, we end up the #4 seed in the playoffs. That sucks. If we get out of round one, we would get the Spurs in the 2nd round instead of the conference finals. Stern needs to revisit this.

I just got back from Wallyworld. Picked up a few things. We needed toothpaste most importantly. I picked up a card for my Mom for Valentine's day (I hope the rest of you fellas remember your mom on that stupid holiday too). Also picked up some Cheesesteaks in a box. That's right, from wal-mart. In the freezer section is a Cheesesteak Kit. It comes with four buns, meat, cheese, and onions. Very good stuff.

Anyways, I'll probably hang out around the house today. There's not much on the agenda today.

Well...I'm sitting on my *** watching Olympics. Go Canada!

I also got some Jays opening day tickets today over the phone (even though they aren't supposed to sell them anywhere but online, I phoned them because I was pissed because you couldn't even get to the ticket purchase screen, and I got some nice 200 club seats).

And I'm my own weatherman. I look outside and decide what to wear.

You must really hate those days when it starts out cold then gets so hot by the afternoon that you're sweating your butt off.

Yea, the Mavs were certainly on a roll. Seems like a lot of people are sleeping on the Mavs, but they have a nice squad and actually play some defense.

Wallyworld? Is that some sort of grocery store?

Cheesesteak in a box...Sounds good to me, I'll have to remember that the next time I go to Walmart.

Great job scoring those tickets early. Baseball is just around the corner!

You still can't even get on the site to buy tickets since it's so busy. Thankfully I have my season's pass.

Do I trust my weatherman? No. How can you ever trust a man named "Dallas Raines"?

Ain't that the truth.

Plus, California is just weird in general, a drop of rain, and all of a sudden we have "Storm Watch" on every channel.

"When it Raines, it pours." (anybody, anybody?)

Steve, I'm seriously considering revoking my membership after that Jessica Alba stunt you pulled on the front page. You know how I feel about her!
