News Post

It's FRIDAY! Well, to get myself "more organized", I bought me a Treo 700w yesterday. Wow, this thing is totally sweet! I can check email, browse the web, make phone calls, look at my calendar, edit Word and Excel files and it will do the dishes for me. I have only been able to play with the basics so far, and I am just loving it. I hope it does help me get more organized, we'll see soon enough.

Anyways, I have to get some work done. What's on tap for you this weekend?

In other news...Got some news links of your own? Post it here!

Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!

Enough about me, what's up with you?

WUZ UP!??!

Cavs lost a bad game, we need to beat teams like that. The Rockets are not having a great season, due to injuries, but you can't let a 11-18 team come into your crib and have you down by 17 and expect to be a contender. Cavs need to make a move now to replace Hughes, him being out 2 months is a huge blow. Or Hughes blow if you want... I kill me.. LOL

My TV is getting repaired this weekend, long story. Going to be sad with no 360, may bring in the old 27" into the family room and play the 360 on SD tv... LOL

I'm so happy it's the weekend, and it's only been a 4 day week!

A Treo? WTF is that!?

Hope you have a good day steve It sounds like you'll be a organization freak by the time we hit summer

Anywho yesterday I recieved my Bills/Oilers game. I watched most of the first half and some of the 2nd half as the game is split into 2 DVDs. I'll be giving my thoughts and reviews on the game of football and the broadcasting end of it after I watch the full game. As a preview tho, I have to say if Instant Replay was around I dunno if the Bills would've won the game.

I've been getting off my schedule of watching classic movies over the weekend since the hollidays and I will be getting into that in a big way on Saturday as there are 3 pretty good movies on tap.
  1. The Big Clock
  2. No Way Out
  3. The Yellow Rolls-Royce

No Way Out is a remake of The Big Clock while The Yellow Rolls-Royce is a charming vignette film about the lives of those who own the Rolls-Royce in the film.

I've seen NWO and "Rolls-Royce" before but I think they're worth watching again.

How much was that Treo Steve? The wife and I were looking into getting a couple? Is it the $499 one?

Whats up everyone?
Well I am glad its friday. I can't wait for the playoffs on Sat. I just watched Wedding Crashers last night and that movie was just as good as it was in the theaters. They said it was suppose to be longer but there aren't that many scenes that I noticed. There were a couple I did notice though. Anyway just have to take care of the car this weekend and football. So whats up with everyone else?

God I'm so bored during the mornings. School can't get here soon enough.

Anyway, Toronto 's going for 5 in a row tonight vs the Rockets.
I can't wait for the College Basketball games tomorrow.

Steve, you were totally right yesterday. The lack of sleep caught up to me, I went to bed at 9 am...and woke up at 4 pm! :y4:

I was woken up today by the awesome sound of a circular saw at 8 am, that sure woke me up pretty quickly.

I hate nothing to do really, I may go preorder Fight Night or something.

I, for the first time, am on the site at work. I finally found a little work-around to get past the web blocking we have.

Looking forward to weekend with the playoffs. Football is always great in the playoffs (even though the Pack couldn't even lose right to get a top 3 pick!!)

I am in a fantastic mood right now. It has been a great but kinda slow week.
-I got my 360 on Sunday and I've been playing that quite a bit.
- OSU and the Browns won their last games
- I missed all of the good basketball games last night, which normally would have been really bad, but I had a date so it's all good I'd gladly miss any sporting event so I can finally get a freakin date, lol.
- And now, the weekend is here, so more things to do, playoff football to watch and everything else good that comes along with the weekend

Slow day at work, but that can't dampen my mood!

- Impressive win by Villanova last night on the road against Louisville. Now if we beat West Virginia at home on Sunday, we'll be the #2 team in the country!
- Flyers beat the Rangers last night with a goal 0:07 into OT to widen our already large division lead. 2nd fastest OT goal in NHL history!

This weekend is all about watching playoff football, as well as a belated Xmas celebration and pre-my-birthday celebration with my wife's brother's family at our home tonight. Our house was chosen as the location because we still have our tree up, and because it means I can have the TV on at all times and nobody can tell me to turn it off. One of my Xmas gifts from them is sure to be the Wedding Crashers DVD, so we'll probably watch that this weekend too.

Cliff Notes version:

-- Took the wife out to dinner last night for her B-Day
-- Ate too much veal parm
-- Work sucks
-- Cold as hell
-- Marty Morningwheg is going to be the OC in Philly - LOL - I just peed a little
-- I need a nap

The week's almost over as Friday is winding down. The boss is outta the office for the remainder of the day so I'm basically free to screw around for the last two hours.

This weekend should be VERY relaxed after the last two weeks during the holiday season of constant eating and drinking. I definately need a break from the booze.

I have my alumni bball game at my former prep school on Saturday which is more than an hour away but it's a fun time there. Tonight will probably be poker with the boys. This week flew by considering it was my first full week of work in three weeks.

Yeah, I hope to be very organized, by at least the end of the month, I'm still behind on doing a few things, but I can tell it's much better!

Interesting movies bro, let me know if they're any good.

It was $399. If you get the unlimited data plan, they knock off a 100 bones.

Raptors aren't playing too bad lately, that's for sure. They have a lot of promising young guys, it should be interesting to see how they gel by the middle of the season.

Looking forward to the playoffs myself. Hope the Skins get dominated. heh.
