Wow, what an amazing National Championship game last night, huh? That was probably one of the best games I have ever watched and I'm glad I stayed up to watch it. I was pulling for Texas, because I love the underdog. Hook em'! Do you really think Young will come back next season or check out via the NFL Draft? I thought it was funny when they interviewed Matt after the game, he was claiming USC had the better team, blah blah blah. Well, not last night Matt! haha!

Anyone try out the Fight Night Round 3 demo? I'm going to download it tonight.

In other news...Got some news links of your own? Post it here!

Happy Birthday to the following OS'er!

Vince Young stays in school IMO.

Fight Night Round 3 demo for the 360 is mind blowing. Looks every bit as good as those E3 videos that showed off the PS3 last year. Makes you wonder, that was supposed to show every bit of the PS3 off, yet the 360 has it already on the system and handles it with ease. Hmm

Great game, I fell asleep, but from the highlights, looked great. I TiVo'ed it, so I'll watch it again later.

Cavs won a big game, but lost Larry Hughes for 2 months..UGH

That's about all here.

Loved the game last night, so entertaining. Vince Young is just flat out amazing.

I still haven't gone to sleep yet..which sucks, but I'm just not tired, I may pull an all-nighter and pick up a Monster energy drink (or two) sometime later today.

Played the Fight Night 3 Demo, and WOW, just amazing. The graphics are insane, the gameplay is fun, as of right now, I'm buying it.

I've heard nothing but good things about FNR3 graphically, but how is the gameplay?

Yeah, Bron had a nice triple double, it's unfortunate about Hughes though.

No sleep? You're nuts bro, haha. You'll feel it in a couple hours, unless you're already passed out.

How is FNR3 compared to last year, gameplay-wise?

Depends.

If he wants to enjoy the college experience, I say yes. But if he wants to get money and get drafted, he needs to go pro. His stock will never be higher than it is right now. If he stays, his stock will go down.

Look at Leinart, consensus #1 pick last year, had better stats this year, but not everyone is raving about Vince Young, and if VY goes pro, Leinart may go #3 instead of #1 last year.

It helps that I don't have school.

I didn't play Fight Night 2, but I played the first Fight Night, I really dig FN3. I'm not sure how to throw haymakers..I dunno if that was a Fight Night 2 addition or not. But I really like the graphics and animations.

amazing game last night, just amazing...

Not a whole lot is going on here, just getting back into the routine of working regularly again after the holidays where I'd work a few days and then have a break. Going to the Pistons/Sonics game tomorrow night, that will be a lot of fun. I'll be on "Darko Watch" to see if any other soul owns a Darko jersey.

It's too damn early, i had to come in early so we could supposedly swap offices with co-workers, but the other people didn't get in early like they said, so that sucked donkey balls. I am so not a morning person.

anyways, it's not that bad, I'll survive with coffee...but what's up with you?

What a marvelous game last night. After all the talk a few months ago how ND/USC was the greatest college game ever, it took only a few months to top it.

I started the game rooting for USC just because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a 3-peat. But early in the 2nd half I started pulling for Texas, it's impossible to hate Vince Young. One of the greatest performances I've seen in college football in a long time. Congrats to the Longhorns.

Leinart was so stunned after the loss, I don't think he's as big of an *** as he came off being.

I'm even more excited for the two basketball games on tonight (Nova/Louisville and MSU/Ill.) which should be a great four hours of hoops. Hopefully 'Nova will rep the Big East a lil better than UConn did on Tuesday night.

Tired as hell...

Screw the West Coast... they need to start those games earlier...

Isn't it funny how Michigan got lambasted last year because they couldn't stop Vince Young, but noone is willing to cast a stone at the defensive guru Caroll? Vince Young is turning out to be a GREAT college QB. Period

(P.S. The USC D should be ashamed of themselves...they look scared to try to tackle Young man up. It's the frickin' National Championship game... strap it on and hit something.)

It's the Wife's B-Day today (wheeeew... finally 18! ) I sent flowers to the house and am going to take her out to dinner tonight. May even throw one at her later if she's lucky...

I'm picking up a Piston's After the All-Star Break Mini-Ticket package. Pretty sweet deal. 4 games for the price of 5 and you get to pick them from all the games that are left except a couple premium games (Miami, Indy). Leaves a few Cavs games though and one with LB and the Knicks. All that, plus you get priority ticket purchasing for the playoffs.

I wish it was February.... these Resolution ****ers at the gym are killing me. I had to wait like 35 minutes for a treadmill yesterday... and most of them have no ettiquette. Sweaty *** sweat pools on the benches when I go to use them.

What's up with you?

It's payback, for College Gameday starting at 7 am.

Totally agree, on his first touchdown run (he had 2 right? It was the first in the 4th quarter), I counted 4 guys touching Vince Young, but not tackling him.

Very solid. Moves slower than years past, but it feels more real. No more throwing 5000 punches in one round. If you throw a bunch, you tire out and leave yourself wide open. The demo has 2 fighters, Jones and Hopkins. Both fight completely different. Very cool game.

Did you see LeBron's fast break tomahawk dunk?

Maybe the lack of sleep is getting to me, but I feel social.

Is it the one from very early on? (16-8 whoever played Cleveland) They showed some monster dunk on Sportscenter at like 4 am. :y4:

Doubt VY wants to go to the Saints, so he'll probably stick around, heh.

Yeah, I think Haymakers were added in FN2, I can't remember. Looking forward to trying FNR3 tonight tho.

Very cool, have a great time at the game, get some pics for us, if you can!

Donkey balls huh? LOL.

I leave for surgery soon and I'm scared out of my mind.

USC choked. They seemed scared to tackle, and what happened to Matt late? He held on to the ball for 7 of the 8 seconds on the clock.

IMO, Young is gone.

Yeah, I'm sure Matt is a cool guy, it's tough to come straight into a mic after a tough loss.

The situation in New Orleans is a difficult one to join. However, their offensive talent is very good. Joe Horn and Dante Stallworth are really good WR's, Deuce McAllister is back from injury, Jamaal Brown is gonna be a great tackle.

Could be a fun offense with Vince Young or Matt Leinart at the helm.

LOL, yeah. They really do need to start these games SOONER, but oh well. I'm actually not feeling that bad this morning.

Wow, very cool deal! I'm definitely wanting to get up there sooner or later to get a game in w/ you, mgo and Injun, if possible. That would be sweer.

LOL, gotta love the rookies at the gym. They'll be gone in a few weeks, no worries.

Ahhh, very cool! So you can box as either one right? How many rounds does it go?

Doesn't Bron have one of those every night?
