News Post

I had a very relaxing day for Christmas yesterday. After waking up and opening the presents, we had some lunch. Then I stayed home, while the family went to visit some friends. I played and beat Condemned, lol. I can't believe I went through the entire game in one sitting. I really wasn't feeling the game that much from the start, but it did get better. I still feel that King Kong was a better game, but beating Condemned gave me another feeling of accomplishment, lol. You see, there aren't very many games anymore that keep me interested for very long. So far that is 2 Xbox 360 games, I have beaten. I think CoD2 and Gun will be the next 2.

Nat got a Furby for Christmas, has anyone ever played with one of these things? We've taught it to do a few things, but that's about it. I guess we need to give it some more time. Nat loves it though. She got all sorts of Barbie stuff, but she loves her Furby.

I know it's late, but HOW BOUT DEM' COWBOYS! With a little luck next week, they can still make the playoffs! The Pistons continue to roll as they blew out the Spurs. The Spurs just aren't the same team without Ginoboli *sp.

What's up everyone! Had a great Christmas yesterday. Did a lot of running around to family but got a lot of neat stuff. Pretty cool! I'm on vac the rest of the week, so I'm going to relax, finally beat Kong, and play some other games.

I got a DVD recorder and a telescope with some games and movies sprinkled in. So I'm quite happy!

I plan on picking up Gun today, everyone keeps raving about it.

No Ginobili? Spurs sucks without Ginobili. I think the Spurs got season-low of 70. Steve, did you watched the basketball game in HD?

I don't know why Gary Payton is arguing with Lakers player at the final buzzer. Maybe there's a push or what?

I made off like a bandit yesterday! My two favorite things I got were prolly NFS MW for 360 and this really cool laser pointer with 12 different tips. Oh yeah, I got some clothes, too.

Hope everyone had a good xmas. I know I did tho last night my kid cousin had to sleep over and I had to share my bed with him. Let's just say I didn't get much rest as he was moving all over the place. I ended up tweaking my shoulder and ribs again too.

Damn kids and their hogging of the bed!

Edit: just read an interesting article. Steve you can give out the link to it on NYE

I had a great weekend that began on Satuday afternoon with me proposing marriage to my g/f of 3 1/2 years. She said yes and loved the ring that I picked out. We had an amazing weekend together and we are looking forward to an amazing life together. I love her more everyday and we are very happy.

I got some great gifts and got to spend a lot of time with my family. I gave my sister a PS2, and eye toy, and a headset. She said that I was better than Santa Claus. I got a receiver and a home theatre system, a new pair of Nikes, the Bret Hart DVD collection, NBA 2k6 for the 360, a laser wireless mouse, a new CD and many other things. I really racked up and I didn't ask for a thing.

I have the entire week off and look forward to a lot of time to play the 360. Life is good.

hey guys! I had a pretty good Christmas yesterday. I'm still at my wife's parents in Louisiana and probably will be through Saturday. I don't go back to work until next week so i'll have a couple days off when I get back home.

Anyways, I caught the first half of the Cowboys game Saturday before we left. Good thing too as they got the Saints game here. I listened to the 2nd half in the car. I still had the signal late into the 4th which was cool. Glad to see we pulled it off. I may be going to the Rams game next Sunday so I def need to get back to Dallas.

Oh well, that's all for now. Luckilyl, I have the wife's laptop to help me get through. Later!!

I had a good Christmas. Got the 2 things I asked for(new speakers for my PC..the subwoofer is unreal and got my entertainment center). With any luck, I'll be able to find a 360 before I head back to school on the 11th

Also, the day after Christmas sucks. Anyone else feel this way??

A very interesting Christmas in Casa de Abner. My publisher delivered a box of 20 copies of my first book, which went on sale 12/24. Writing a 300 page reference book on gaming proved to be a bigger challenge than I envisioned but it's admittedly cool to see it now that it's complete. I have a Bowl Pick EM contest at my blog if you want to win a free signed copy, BTW.

Additionally, the home builders wrapped up laying the foundation for our new country house this weekend-- and we bought a new 2005 PT Cruiser on Friday. It's been a whirlwind of a holiday.

Still, by far the best part of the weekend was seeing my daughter Christmas morning. A 5 year old's Christmas is very special.
