News Post

I didn't do much last night for my birthday, just went out to dinner. We also put up the Christmas tree, Nat had fun putting the decorations on it. She was wanting to open her presents, lol. We usually put the Xmas tree up on my birthday, since it's more or less a relaxing day for me.

The Pistons had no problems at all against the Bulls last night. I'm sure they are still steaming about that embarrassing loss to the Jazz. 17-3 is a nice record tho, so I can't complain. They go to Charlotte tonight, so they "Should" win that one. We'll see.

I'm so glad there are some NFL games on today, I'll be heading down south to visit my parents and we'll probably have some cake and ice cream and enjoy the games. Should be a fairly relaxing weekend for me.

I beat Kong last night! Take that EG! Time to start playing more NBA 2K6 and maybe beat COD2 and/or Gun.

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
delanceyj (32), Dman4Life8017 (25), Kane182 (24), fiend55cs (24), MLewis32 (21), Egarim (21), wungtgeneral (21), RealSeahawkFan (14)

Enough about me, what's up with you? Hope you're enjoying the weekend.

BTW, if you have any ideas for a new Poll, give me some ideas.

Thanks.

Steve, I have some ideas. I want "Who will win the Super Bowl XL" poll.

If you say win tonight for Detroit, I will definitely say it too. The Bobcats will not score 100 or more. Detroit can.

Last night, Kobe scored 41 points over a victory against the Wiz. My favorite play for Kobe is the steal and the dunk in the 1st quarter.

If you have any comments for me, I'm always open.

Happy belated birthday Steve! I hope you enjoyed yesterday and this weekend. The Knicks are horrible. It's the players, not LB. I wish there was a sucker that would take Stephon, but I think the luster of him being a superstar is gone, ya know?

This weekend my wife and I will finish our Christmas shopping and just chill out. It's been one of those hectic weeks with work. The interview with Ben Brinkman has made me want to pre-order MVP in addition to MLB 06. Nice job as usual.

Other than that, I will get some NBA 2k6 time and try to figure out a somewhat realistic trade to rid myself of Marbury and Crawford. At least I am better than the real thing with a 12-14 record.

Enough about me...Enjoy your day.

trimin the tree were ya?? that is my favorite thing to do.. i dunno, just being with the family, having xmas music on.. there's just something about it that i really enjoy

Good idea, but I'd like to keep the poll on sports gaming, not sports.

If the Stones play like they are supposed to play against a weaker opponent, I don't see it being a close game.

It's always good to see the Wiz lose.

Who do you have in the Finals?

Thanks bro.

You don't want the best point guard in the NBA? heh... Yeah, no question it's the players, LB is a great coach. Him and Isiah will assemble the right people, it's just going to take some time.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to MVP 06 NCAA, it sounds very promising, I should be getting beta very soon, possibly next week.

I haven't done any trades in 2K6, does the AI handle it fairly well? Who are you trying to get?

WTF? You like the Wiz losing?

Anyway, just woke up, watched that Daily Show part you posted. LMAO at the end where he tries to leave with accessories without paying.

Search for the 360 is still on, and I'm filming the movie dramatization as well.

Uh... yeah... stuff.

Glad to hear your getting a beta soon. LOL, Marbury is just something. Steven A. Smith has a radio show in NY and he gave him all the chances in the world to back off that statement and he wouldn't.

The trading is a little too easy if you want to mirror real life, IMO. But, if you go by ratings, Marbury should net you a superstar, right? I put him on the block and I got offers for Pierce, Allen, and Brand. I wouldn't suspect that teams would do that, but I might just have to do something b/c I have an intense dislike for Marbury sulking around the court in real life.

I trust LB, Isiah is spotty. He had a bad offseason after a great draft. Jerome James? Then he trades for Curry which I liked, but it made the James thing after drafting Frye (who is real good) dumb.

I gotta stop complaining about the Knicks. I think I still resent them trading Ewing for garbage.

its been a pretty good week here on the homefront...

Hung out with my new lady friend last night (and it went GREAT. ill get some pics up later)

and got my christmas shopping done. its been pretty productive.

As for my mom, she is very sick, but thats expected and it wont get better for another 10-14 days. She just has to make it through that, and then things should get better.

Well, I'm pretty much done with college acceptance letters....got two more today for Providence and Merrimack, which gives me a totla of 6 for 6, with Northeastern and Roger Williams remaining, but those two are lower on my list. Providence is in my top four, so I'm onto the decision making process now, hopefully it wont be too hard.

Just taught my dad how to play Madden on the 360 and it was hysterical. We played a game, He was the Colts and I was the Bolts...final score: SD- 56 IND- 49. Brees and Manning each had5 touchdowns, Gates caught 4 of them for me, Harrison caught 3 for him. LT had my other 3 TDs....there was abolutely no defense....it was hysterical.

FInally beat COD2, but I'm going to up the difficulty level and beat it again. It's such a fun game I'm not going to be able to put it down until another game comes my way(Maybe NBA 2K6 if I get it for X-mas)

Yup, I love making fun of local teams.

Tomorrow's the day for the 360.

Starbury just can't seem to fit in no matter what team he goes to. When he was in Minnesota w/ KG, that was about the only time he seemed to have chemistry w/ any specific team.

Yeah, Isiah has definitely made some questionable moves, he must have something up his sleeve for the trade deadline tho.

Pics of the lady friend huh? Nice, hope it works out for ya.

I'll definitely send out some prayers for your mom.

Congrats on all of the acceptance letters bro, your parents must be very pleased.

HAHA, sounds like your dad is a natural, heh.

Was the ending of CoD2 good? I think it's the next game I try to beat. You won't be disappointed w/ NBA 2K6.
