Yesterday was pretty eventful when I got home. After making some dinner, I picked up Nat and we ate. Then we had to go to Dan's basketball game. The coach told us to be there at 7:15. We were rushing out the door to make sure we were there on time. We got there at about 7:15 and the game before us hadn't even reached halftime yet. I was pissed. Anyways, Nat has been constipated lately and well...She squirmed and cried the whole time we were there. The ENTIRE second half of the game that should have been over and Dan's entire game. I took her to the bathroom every 5 minutes, but she couldn't do anything, I felt horrible, but there wasn't much I could do. After the game we were going home and she had an accident in her pants. She obviously couldn't wait for a few minutes as we were only a few minutes from the house, but oh well, at least she handled her business. I'm going to make sure she isn't eating anything that will cause this to keep happening, I couldn't stand it.

As for Dan's game, he had a pretty good game and the team won by about 30, lol. They lost last week, to probably the best team in the league, by 5. I think his team is gelling quite nicely, should be a fun season for him. It looks like he's finally on a decent team of kids, usually he's on some crappy teams. He had a nice little spin move layup last night that had all the kids oohing and ahhing, I'm sure he felt good about it, it was nice, I must say, but mine are prettier.

After the long night and getting Nat a bath and into bed, I was beat, so I went to bed w/o playing the 360 for the 2nd day in a row, actually...I don't even remember the last time I turned that thing on. I'll definitely get some Kong play tonight and restart my NBA 2K6 association.

In other news...Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
Inspector403, clintb, clovett (26), pennstlbu (23), Pointguard (18), texaslonghornsin04 (14)

Enough about me, what's up with you?

What's the Kong HD problem? Blocked at work.

I haven't played much 360 either lately. So we're still probably even on Kong.

Cavs are falling apart, we can't play D to save our lives, and I would love to have the nutso Artest here. He's a loon, but we need someone who can be a lock down defender. Atlanta smoked us, that should say enough right there...

2 More days till VACATION!

The Kong HD problem they are talking about is for the peeps w/ no HD. It seems as tho the Q&A teams didn't check out some things w/ non HD sets and some areas are so dark, the peeps w/ standard sets have no idea what they are doing, lol.

Yeah, Atlanta is playing a lot better tho, they beat the Spurs the other day. Somehow I don't see Artest going anywhere, not sure there is a team out there willing to give up some decent talent for the guy. If you were GM of the Cavs, who would you trade for him?

Ahh, gotcha, that's pretty funny!

I would send them Gooden and Damon Jones for him. Or a package with Z.

Wow... I don't know if I can follow a good "pants accident" story...

If I haven't mentioned it before, my Wife (God Bless her) is the worst gift giver in the world! She does good with the kids. But, for the most part, in the 7 years we've been together she has, pretty much, gone "O-fer" with me. It's the thought that counts...blah blah... but it always bugs me because I'll look at the stuff and think... damn... this chick doesn't "get" me at all.

So this year, she asked me to actually make her a Christmas List. Sweet!!! I bust open WORD and give her a great list of DVDs, CDs, some clothes, a few PC games, some books, great ideas on stuff that I'd really enjoy. As well as practical gifts like an electric razor...snow blower... etc...

So, I get home yesterday and she says, "I finished shopping for you today." I'm like, "Great... glad the list helped..."

She says, "Oh... I didn't get anything from the list... I found a few things at the mall... not sure if you'll like them, but I did so I got them for you."

DAMNIT!!!!!

Now in 11 days I have to put on the "you're the only gift that is important to me" face on Christmas Morning while I did through clothes I would never wear, jewelry - which I don't wear (besides my wedding band), and various other things SHE likes. But instead of buying them for HERSELF... she bought them for ME!

Christmas is going to kick me in the chesnuts again!

What's up with THAT!?!?!

That's one thing that my wife does great, she really knows me and remembers things. Last Xmas I saw something in March that I said was cool, come Xmas morning, there it is. She's just good like that, which is I went really overboard this year buying for her..but she's worth it.

Steve,

What a crazy night you had last night with Nat. LOL. I'm sure you're happy it's over with. Sometimes, don't you feel like a keystone cop? Running back and forth trying to ease your child's discomfort all the while trying not to go insanse. I know I do. My kids have been under the weather for the past few days and their range of emotions at times put both the wife and I on the breaking point.

I'm driving to work this morning, and the wife calls. Says our son, who's 3-1/2 was having a tantrum mainly because he doesn't feel well, but also because he wasn't getting what he wants. Anyways, when he gets mad, he throws himself on the ground. Well, he must have slipped this time and landed on his nose. She's not sure if it's broken or what. There's never a dull moment, is there? I have a hard time dealing with injuries or sickness. I didn't sign up this part!

A few weeks ago, didn't you say your step son's team was in disarray? They were attempting to run an offense similar to the Suns. What happened? Did they bring in some new recruits or did practice just pay off big time for them? They sound very competitive.

I too haven't played the 360 in a couple days, but it's mainly because there's just not enough hours in the day. I'm getting back to the gym, but I tend to go around 8 at night. If I could somehow get up early and go in the morning before work, then I'd have my evenings free. Takes motivation to get up early though.

Anyone else worried that the PS3 is going to dwarf the 360 in terms of power. I'm estactic about the 360 and love everything I have seen, but I'm a bit concerned MS gave Sony the time it needed to see all that MS is showing them in terms of power, online capability, and price points. Should be interesting.....

Not in the least. The PS3's power info won't change, if it's coming out in March, developers already have their kits, and have been writing software for it. Sony's not going to come in and change all the specs now.

Good morning

Well we have some snow falling right now. I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today. I always like watching the snow falling but hate to go out in it.

So yesterday I watched FUN WITH DICK AND JANE and it was ok. It's a social comedy about rich people suddenly becoming poor and robbing banks and stuff. George Segal was very good in his part and Jane Fonda wasn't bad either. The movie's premise is good enough for a remake but since it's Jim Carrey in it it's going to be more slapsticky. I give the movie a 6/10.

I also read 5 chapters of THE YEARS OF RICE AND SALT and it seems to be a pretty good book. I found out tho that it's 10 novellas wrapped around the POD that I mentioned yesterday. Still it's quite interesting and at times graphic. It was tough reading about a slave being forced to be a Eunuch (sp) by his Chinese captors.

I also had a great dinner in ox tail stew YUMMMMMY. Too bad everybody in the house ate it all so I was left with only one serving

Well i'm going to listen to the radio now. Ciao for now!

See... that's me!!

My wife mentions something and I sock it away in the oversized gord till I need it.

The weird part is my wife knows me very well. We're very similar. Same tastes in a lot of things. She knows my quirks and that stuff... but she CAN NOT shop for me. Clothes are the worst. She totally wants me to dress completely different than I do. Her taste is awful... in clothes... and many would say men.

LOL, definitely Keystone Cops comes to mind. At least "it" finally came out in the end, heh.

Ouch, hope your son is OK. Nat, when she gets upset, she folds her arms and turns her back to us. It is f'ing hilarious, seriously. I try to be serious w/ her when she's bad, but she absolutely cracks me up when she does it. Sometimes she screams out, "You're bad daddy!, very bad!" LMAO!

Haha, yeah...You are correct. They had the run and gun style offense, now they actually setup a few things. We have found our Larry Bird as well. He was 5/5 from 3 point land, he was unreal, I think he had like 20 points. He was just on fire. Hopefully he can keep it up. With more practice and more time to gel during the season, hopefully these kids can keep up their winning ways, but you're right, it sure looked like it was going to be a long season, but it is starting to look a lot better.

Yup, it's impossible for me to wake up in the mornings as is, if I want to wake up to workout? Fuggettaboutit...

I'm not worried, I say to Sony..."Bring it on baby!" I can live w/ my 360 and a PS3 just fine.

Clay, I cant wait to hear what you actually got for xmas..hehe.. next year just cut out pics of things you want & tape them around the house...

Steve, hope she's feeling better today..

Not much new here.. very, very cold today - with another storm heading in for Thursday.. but luckily it appears to be a rain event instead of snow.. the big majority of my xmas shopping is done - just have to get two more gifts & cards then it's "wrapping" time.. Was trying to get tix for me & the G/F for the Xmas show in the city, but there is a looming tranist strike so that would be a bad idea at this point (besides my lazy behind does not want to walk the blocks in the city)..

Jeez, I keep putting my Xmas shopping on the backburner, or whatever they call it, heh. The 24th will be here soon enough, I suppose, lol.

oh do I hate the "standing in line" principle.. ususally I go in, know what I am getting, & back out the door I go.. but now with the "cold factor", I am sitting in front of the computer saying to myself .."do I want to go out" ??
