Game Method has posted their review of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, giving it a 68 out of 100.
"Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland attempts to bring the series into the next-generation by raising the resolution and supporting Xbox Live; sadly, this only serves to highlight the game’s flaws, turning what was already an average game into a lesson in mediocrity. An increase in resolution counters the intent to make the game look better on Xbox 360. A ridiculously short story mode and rehashed classic mode provides more of the same that looks better on Xbox and PlayStation 2; fortunately, the controls are a dream on Xbox 360, thanks to the added left and right bumpers. Online gameplay is certainly welcome, but is an extension of what has already been available on PlayStation 2. While it’s nice to see Tony Hawk still keeping active, Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland is proof that you simply can’t teach an old skater new tricks."
