News Post

To those that celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you enjoyed your turkey day with family and friends. I stuffed myself almost to the point where I couldn't move, then I started to get a migraine and body aches. While all of this is going on, I'm watching the Boys lose to the Broncos in overtime. It was a very entertaining game, definitely a roller coaster of emotions from me. After being so high on Cundiff coming back, he is back on my hit list. He missed a chippy late in the game that would have put the Boys on top. It really doesn't matter though, the Boys had plenty of chances to get points on the board, but ended up not doing so. It's unfortunate they didn't get the ball first in OT, but that's how it goes in the NFL. I was shocked when Dayne practically took it to the house on that 55 yarder. Oh well, at least the Boys can get some well deserved rest and get ready to pound on the Giants next weekend.

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
TecmoBowl (31), ScottISU (25), Rocky (19), sport_4141 (19)

Enough about me, what's up with you?

Okay....I checked out that "treadmill bike" thing. WTF?!?!?

I watched the video taking it off of sweet jumps at the bottom....and you can run faster than it goes. Then, "when the weather is nice outside, who wants to be cooped up in a gym? Take the treadbike outside and see the scenery....". DUH!!! Just run!!

If this thing is serious.....I feel sad for its inventors.

Just recovering from the big feast here yesterday. Had my parents and sister over, and my wife and mother put together a GREAT feast. Then watched Finding Nemo at night on ABC (great movie).

Not much happening today. My sister and I have to put a DVD together for my dad for x-mas and I just have to run errands in the snow up here. We may even put up the Christmas tree tonight as well....if we're up for it. It WILL get put up this weekend, though.

Yup, very interesting device, lol.

Finding Nemo is Nats' favorite movie, she knows almost all the lines, it's hilarious.

What's up everyone, hope you all had a great day yesterday.

After a nice afternoon with the fam I just played poker and darts last night with the boys. Woke up today around noon and made myself some pancakes then played a $20 sit-and-go on Pokerstars, finished second so I won $54. Great way to start the day!!

It looks like the CH2k6 rosters will be finished within the hour so I can finally start my UConn legacy. I can't wait, this game will be the only game in my Xbox until March. It's that damn good. BTW, am I the only one who goes nuts with recruiting in this game? I grab a legal pad and jot down notes on all the players I'm recruiting and strengths and weaknesses and what not. LOL, it's pretty hardcore but I love the details of the game. I get into it a lil too much maybe.

I also have my five year high school reunion tonight. Who the hell does five year reunions? Oh well, I'll go anyway and get pretty tipsy and laugh at all the hot, snobby girls who were popular in HS but are fat now.

Should be a good time. It's been a great long weekend thus far.

Is Pokerstars some sort of online card site?

Yup, I'm waiting on those rosters too, can't wait! They are rolling through em'. I have some friends that get all into that recruiting, like yourself. I don't get that far into it tho.

LOL, have fun at the reunion bro.

Great food, great family. My girlfriend came over and my whole family (the ones she hadn't met yet) loves her. It's a good sign.

Anyway, my teeth are killing me. Damn ortho.

College Hoops 2k6 rosters should actually be out today. Huge props to the guys here.

I played maybe 5 games of Madden with my two cousins, and I beat the **** out of them. I played two CH2k6 games against one of them, and beat him by 19 (App St. @ Radford) and 22 (VT @ App St.).

It was great. I'm going to give my Xbox as a Christmas present to the older one, who lives in NYC. He was talking about selling it to him, but I don't think I could do that.

Yeah, it's an online poker place. I just started playing for money recently after my friend won a grand in a week. And when we play at Foxwoods or in our homegames I usually do better than him so I figured I'd give it a whirl. It's not all that hard as long as you know what you're doing.

Nice bro, how long have you been seeing her?

What'd the ortho do? You have braces?

Stop playing your 5 year old cousins.

Thanksgiving was fun, got to see a lot of my relatives.

My cousin is in a band and he was talking about that, it's pretty interesting. dieselboy would love my cousin, his band records in the same studio as Saosin (one of diesel's favorite bands).

Sucks that the 'Boys lost, Steve. I can't believe Ron Dayne beat them. :y4:

I've just been playing my LA Clippers 2k6 Dynasty today, check it out in the Dynasty HQ forum.

Whats up ladies?

THE FLU IS GONE!!!

Hate that piece of ****. Now I can finally enjoy Thanksgiving food via left overs! Rejoice! Cowboys lost yesterday, as I was rooting for them, but atleast it was a good game.

Now, back to poker.

My older cousin is 24 I think, while the other is 22 and going to graduate from App. St. Me and my girl have been going out since April 20th. I've had braces for about 2 years. I'm nearing the end of them thank god. We're just making one of my teeth at the same plane as the others.

Went to the parents house w/ the wife and kid. My son's first visit to Grandma's. He's two months old now and is growing like a weed! He only gets up once a night to feed. NOw we're starting to give him a little rice cereal in his formula.

Had an AWESOME dinner. We've been so stressed out with the baby that we haven't been eating too well the last two months. So having mom cook a full meal was better than I can describe. Eating the leftovers tonight!

I'm playing Choops tonight after the wife goes to bed. Trying to find the right difficulty setting. I have some early sliders that are playing great, but it might be too easy at this level. So more testing needed. I see the boys finished the roster file in record time so gonna check those out tonight.

Don't have a 360, but I have so many Xbox games to finsish that I'm ok with that. Plus still playing BF2 when I can. Anyone get the expansion pack?

I still play NBA2K6, NCAA, Indigo Prophecy, Riddick, Choops, hell even some Madden and MVP. By spring I'll pick up the HD and the 360 when the really hot titles (GR3, Oblivion, GOW) start coming out.

I do read everyone's impressions though on the 360 so I can stay in the loop.

I'm stuffed with thanksgiving leftovers, Colorado fans had a major meltdown, and Callahan left the field drenched in Gatorade...

All is right with the world again...

You and me both. Must be the Denver system, lol.

Clips aren't doing too bad early in the season.

I hope I can shake mine one of these days. It seems to be on the way out of my system, then the next day, BAM...It hits me again. I can't shake it and it's pissing me off.

I'll be pulling for your Hawks on Sunday.

I have never take that many drugs during a 72 hr period in my life, recreational or non. Theraflu, Alkaseltzer cold, Tylenol PM, Advil, etc. etc. etc.

I hope you can shake it man. Lots of vitamin C, liquids, sleep, and soup. But I'm sure the Cowboys loss didn't help....

Wow, 2 months already huh?

I got the expansion pack for BF2 the other day, haven't installed it yet tho.

Gonna load up these rosters for 2K6 here in a few. Those guys ROCK!

Yeah, I'm starting up the Theraflu now. Hopefully in a couple days, I'll shake it. Been drinking tons of OJ. Gonna make some soup now. Yup, the Boys loss didn't help things.
