News Post

Other than being sick as a freakin' dog, I can't wait to see the Cowboys/Lions game in about 2 hours. I sure hope the Boys don't have a letdown, because they are going to have their hands full on Turkey Day w/ the Broncos. Billy Cundiff, the FG kicker everyone loved to hate, makes his return to the Boys lineup. I never did like the kid, but I'm pulling for him now. He's actually not that bad of a kicker, I just thought the Boys would get someone a little more reliable before the season started. I think the Boys will have an ariel show today, since the Lions secondary is banged up. It would be nice to see Julius Jones get back into last years form, he's been injured for most of the season, hopefully he'll be ok the rest of the way.

Well, the Pistons got SMOKED last night. They looked out of it from the tip. Everyone looked flat and had no energy, besides Big Ben. That man is a beast. Dallas lit it up from everywhere and the Stones couldn't get a good run. Even when they did get a little run the Mavs put a stop to it with a run of their own. Oh well, 8-1 to start the season, I'll take that!

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
cuppylove (26), corks895 (18), Thrasha (18), roonoc (16)

Enough about me, what's up with you? Good luck to your team today, unless your a Lions fan. Also, I'll be getting up some more College Hoops 2K6 media up today as well.

I had a swim meet yesterday. I swum pretty bad in the 100 yard breaststroke (MY specialty) and the 100 free. But i swum the 1000 yard freestyle. I negative split it....meaning that i swum the second half of the race faster than the first half and its not like i did it slow either i clock in just under 12 minutes.

Its like running the length of 5 football fields fast then running another 5 football fields even faster!

In the college pickem i couldnt get any closer to an undefeated week. I lost 2 games. One wehn to overtime and the other was lost in the final minute. I only had one better week when i lost only once but to lose the tiebreak.

That's what's up!

Cavs win again, over Philly, coming way back to win. Great game, Hughes is playing great, and LBJ is LBJ. Only a half game back of your Pistons!

Getting ready to leave to go to the Browns/Phins game, as I said in the pro football forum, I think I would rather go to a nursing home and knit a sweater than be at this game...LOL

Hokies are doing hella great and the Jackets helped us out too.

I hate that every "expert" is picking against the Jaguars, but what are you going to do? Tennessee is a great team... *rolls eyes*

Sup Steve?

Guess who won? BOTH teams. It was a great day yesterday. My sisters college team moved onto the Elite 8 for Div III woman's soccer, hoping to get a good phonecall this afternoon, 'cause that means I'm spending Thanksgiving in North Carolina rooting for my sister in the final four!

And the Boys team(my high school, for all the people who haven't been following my non-stop posts about them) also won, 3-0, with one of my friends having a hat-trick. That means they are now THE back-to-back Massachusetts state champions for Div I high school soccer. 46 straight games without a loss, great way for me as a fan and all my senior friends on the team to go out. Especially since they're going to suck next year(losing 14 of 27 kids, 10 of 11 starters.) It was such a touching sight when for 15 minutes after the game ended, all us fans stayed there, clapping, cheering, seeing these guys who we have rooted for for the past two years leave on a high note.

Not much else, hoping to see a Pats win, but who knows with their injury depleted asses.

Wow, that is crazy bro. You gotta have a lot of endurance to be a swimmer. It is flat out amazing how fast the Olympians are.

I sucked it up in my pickem's. Now I'm 3 games out of 1st place w/ the final week coming up.

LOL, yea. Nice win bro.

Yup, they are definitely playing some great basketball, the Sixers were one of the hot teams too, so it's a good win. Glad Hughes is coming together, I have him on my fantasy squad.

LMAO! Would you really? hahah....Somehow I doubt it. Have fun at the game.

Edited your post, for factual purposes

I'm hoping they win today so I know that I would've seen her last soccer game. I've watched her pretty much my entire life, so I'd feel horrible if I wasnt there to see her last game.

Only about 39 more hours until I get my 360.

Fresno State/USC was an amazing game last night, Fresno was very close to ending USC's streak.

Today I have to work on a rough draft essay for English and watch some football. I think my games are coming in today or tomorrow (it is taking forever, lol)..so I'll pick those up.

Car's getting detailed tomorrow right after school, so from 12 to 2 or 3, I'll be without a car, which is alright. As long as I have it for my 360.

I wash my car.

However, getting it detailed is like waxing it, fixing the interior, etc.

Fair enough. I don't even want my car detailed to be honest, my dad says my car needs, so whatever.

Blame him.

Yeah, amazing game for sure last night. Looks like Texas/USC for the National Championship, unless something crazy happens.

Yesterday I went to see my long time classmate get married. It was nice. She lives in Japan now and came back to Hawaii to get married. It was mostly in Japanese tho, but we managed to figure out what they were saying.

Congrats to the Hawaii basketball team. Honestly, I thought they wouldn't have a chance in this game. I thought the media was on crack when they said they could have a 20 win season. I got caught in traffic going home from the wedding because everybody was going to the game. I got to watch the replay again of this game.

Today me friends want to go to Kualoa Ranch to go ATV'ing. I think I am going to pass, I feel like a walking zombie. I want to relax, dam it!
