News Post

I'm going to be busy running a bunch of errands today, so you won't hear too much from me. I didn't have time to grab any screenshots last night from CH 2K6, but I'll definitely have some movie clips up tonight. I'll make sure I squeeze in some time for you guys.

Some big college football games coming up later this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to the Ohio St./Michigan game, should be a classic.

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!

Enough about me, what's up with you? BTW, I got lucky and scored a 360 last night. Impressions later, if I have the time.

I hate you, I'm hoping to get one, and you're getting them early, bastard.

As for me....my family left for Oneata State(sp?) in NY for my sisters soccer games, while I'm staying home for the state championship.

Yeah, that means my high school soccer team won it's game on Thursday(45 straight! without a loss, that is) and are heading to defend the state title they won last year as well. It's going to be crazzzy.

With the family gone, I might be having a celebration party afterwards but we'll see.

Not much else going on.

Glad to see that you got a 360 Steve. I guess my extra one will go to another lucky guy. Mine should be here on Monday. I just can't decide whether to call off work or not. I haven't missed a day in about 18 months, but I might have to Monday. I can't wait. I already got Madden and Tiger on Friday, so I'm all set.

Well, as far as today goes, I've got to work and then I'm coming back home to catch up on some sleep. I'm looking forward to Sunday and the NFL games. The Titans are back off their bye week, I sure hope it helped a little. I'm 100-44 in my football picks this season and have jumped into 1st place in my work pool. I think it's going to be a tough week this week though.

Not too much going on, it's going to be a great week with the 360 and then Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday. I'm looking forward to seeing family and eating some of my grandmother's home cooking. Other than Christmas, this is the greatest holiday of the year.

Best week ever? I think it could be close, especially if I decide to pick up a HDTV this week.

Well, Nebraska started a little slow yesterday against Longwood, but we ended up taking control in the second half and won by about 20. One of our freshman had one of the most unbelievable dunks I have ever seen. It was an alley-oop and he caught the ball behind his head and....it was just amazing. Today, we play Yale...I'm thinking about making a sign that says:
IMPALE
YALE

So simple, yet so beautiful. Yesterday we got stuck in the third row of the student section, so we are going to make sure we get there extra early today so we can sit in the front row and hassle the refs. Maybe it was just the refs at our game, but have they been calling a lot of carries this year? I saw like 5 carry calls. I've never seen that many in a single game. Well, I got to go take a shower and get ready for the game

Peace.

Whatsup?

Just got back from Oxford, MS where I spent the night with my friend Laney. Last night, I spent time with my girlfriend Casey (just asked her out last night) and we went and saw Saw II.

Other than that, I will probably just watch sports the rest of today. My dad thought about putting up the Xmas decorations today but I think that plan is now out the window.

Anyways, what's up with you guys?

Good luck to your team bro. So when do they play?

Thanks for being my backup, just in case.

100-44 is crazy good bro. I think I've won 90...if I remember right.

An alley behind his head? You mean he reversed it or what?

They've been calling the carry in the NBA a little more this year as well. They need to take that And1 stuff out of the game.

Looks like they'll be 8-1 after this game. They definitely look flat tonight. I was hoping they'd at least cut it to 15 before the half.

I'm very excited to see those CH2k6 movie clips tonight!

I just got back from VMEA Honors Choir... oh man, I don't think I've ever sung that much. I sang for about 16 hours in 3 days... in perspective, I think I slept for 9 in two nights.

A lot of fun though. I came home to find my new Newton's Cradle (Executive Ball Clicker) and two Xbox 360 games (THAW and COD2). Pretty good weekend, and I get to see my Stacy tomorrow.

It's all good... I think I'm going to go sleep soon.

I didn't see any VT screenies...

Glad you had a great time. As for the VT screens, you didn't look very hard. They are there.

Can I get some numbers to them, Steve?

BTW... today was my day. VT won, Miami lost, 'Bama lost to Auburn, and I gave a great performance with 129 other talented Senior singers. What a day.

NVM about the numbers...

I'm kinda irritated... it seems like Tech has a generic arena around the floor (which the mid-court logo needs a maroon circle around it) when VT's arena is very unique. I guess I can't complain too much because VT isn't a huge b'ball school.
