News Post

Other than play some beta College Hoops 2K6 last night, I didn't do much else besides watch the "Game of the Week" on the NFL Network. Oh yeah baby, the Eagles vs. Cowboys game. It was ugly for the first 56 minutes. As for College Hoops 2K6, the game is absolute GOLD! Seriously, I thought it was pretty good last year, but it is that much better this year. Check out the "Season Preview" screenshots and the "Selection Sunday" shots, the game is pure heaven for College basketball fanatics. After I post some movie clips, hopefully later tonight, I'll try to answer some questions for you guys, I'll even try to answer some questions here. Until then, enjoy the screenshots I just posted.

It's FRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! What else needs to be said?

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
ILuvMary (27), reasonable_doubt_ (23), onebmf044 (23), WBAHawky (15)

Enough about me, what's up with you? What are you up to this weekend?

All I can say Steve, those screen shots.. INCREDIBLE!!! Selection Sunday!? WHOA!!! So much for waiting for the 360 version, again, 2KSports gets my money twice!! LOL

I have 4 inches of snow at my house, not as bad as I feared. Some places south of me have 10-13 inches. A few guys didn't come in today because of the snow. Crazy!

Not too busy of a weekend. Got our Xmas stuff down last night and put up our tree. My wife is going to a giving night on Sunday, the mall hosts this giving night from 7-11. You pay 10 bucks to get in, which goes towards people who don't have money/food for Xmas and shops have discounts and there's food to try and music, kids singing songs, etc. It's a really cool event. My wife, her Mom, sister, and my mom are all going. They'll have fun, I get to sit around watching football! After going to the Browns game Sunday, I'll probably need a good game on TV!!!

Thanks a ton Steve for the new shots, half of OS is foaming at the mouth for info on this game. Great job of keeping us (well, most of us ) satisfied.

If you ever get to answering questions, all I'd like you to do is take a team with the potential to lose a ton of players after this season (such as UConn ) and sim a season and see how many players leave early. Not just on the one team but around the country as well. I found in 2k5 that way too many studs stuck around for all 4 years.

As for me, this Friday should fly by. Tonight is finally the season opener for UConn!! Gametime isn't til 11:30pm EST so me and the boys will obviously catch it at a bar. Then on Saturday I'm heading up to Boston to see the boys from college. Watch the college football games during the day then hit up the bars at night. Should be a great weekend!!

Selection Sunday and the Season Preview are absolutely INCREDIBLE. It wasn't some short little sequence either. VERY good stuff, I'm shocked at how detailed it is.

Very cool event!

Yeah, not everyone will be satisfied, but the core OS'ers will love them.

I can try that tonight if I have time and let you know.

Enjoy the weekend bro!

Last day in Vegas and it's a half day!

I love Vegas... but the Vegas that I love is not the one that you come to work at. I left my hotel at 6:15a this morning and the tables were already packed (probably from last night). That should be me!!! Instead, I'm back in the office for 6 hours or so before snagging my 4 hour plane ride home.

At least the flight back to Detroit is direct. And, more importantly, I will get to see my girls tonight. I was never a huge fan of traveling on business...but my dislike hit a whole new level once I had kids. Although, they love it because they know they'll get presents.

Pistons/Rockets tonight! Should roll into the driveway right around tip-off. If the Pistons can come out of the weekend undefeated, that will be quite the accomplishment!

"The Big Game" is barely 24 hours away. The thing that sucks is that the team that holds the ultimate power is actually Michigan State. Watch... if Michigan wins... Michigan State will lose and give the berth to Penn State. If Ohio State wins.... Sparty will win and give the berth to OSU. Damn Spartys!!! Ah...either way.... there should be some great collisions. I think Lloyd is going to run Hart and Grady right at Hawk and the LBs. Michigan will go total ball control.

Lions/Cowboys on Sunday. Here's hoping for a Dallas letdown game!

What's up with you?

TGIF!

Last night I was on the xbox website and watched the countdown ticker hit 3 days 0 hours, 0 minutes. We're almost there. I received an email from gamefly saying that they shippied COD and Condemned, WOOT! I'll be buying Madden and NBA 2K6 this weekend.

Anyways, i'm at work, and have already sat through 2 meetings in the first two hours. Friday's usually drag on forever here. Then we have the dreaded Thanksgiving potluck. I'm still going to take about an hour lunch even after we eat.

I don't have much planned for the weekend. I do plan to move the tv and computer, home theatre set around some this weekend in anticpation for 360. I may go to some high school playoff games tomorrow at Texas Stadium. That's about it for me.

One more thing, it's Detroit vs Dallas all weekend with the Pistons visiting the Mavericks (who will give Detroit their first loss) and then Lions at Cowboys on Sunday!

Thanks for all the information you have provided thus far on CH 2K6. It's been much appreciated. I just wish I had the game in my hands to play this weekend as my Rock Chalk Jayhawks tip off tonight against the ever popular Idaho State Bengals. The first regular KU season game means one thing. College Football is over with in my mind. It's a religion. Can ya tell I'm a diehard?

Call me crazy, but I'll probably be the only person buying the 360 WITHOUT a launch game. I will be purchasing CH for the Xbox, and renting the 360 games. $60 for a game I'm unsure I'll be playing after a week (i.e. COD2) does not do it for me. If CH is as good as you're saying, then that'll be the first game I purchase for the 360.

Can't wait til next week! 360, CH, a short work week, playing with the kids and seeing all my neices and nephews....priceless.

You're not totally crazy. I have two games coming from Gamefly. Both are the type of games that I lose interest in really fast so no way am I spening $60. The $10 diff will really make me choose my purchases carefully. I am going to buy Madden and 2K6 this weekend though.

ah yes.. Turkeyday is almost upon us.. next week - geez this year has gone fast.. and too, the 360 & CHoops comes out.. it is still chilli here, & they say chance of a snow shower on Thanksgiving, but that's all.. (& yes I chose to work on T-day.. not too bad - 8-4 then over to the grandparent's house for leftovers)

now with Clay all excited about the game tonight, i can picture this.. he races through the airport like OJ.. drives like a madman home, kisses the dog & pats the wife & kids on the head before plunkering down in front of the tube.... then realizes he left the car running in the driveway.. hehe

anyway, thanks for the screenshots of Choops, Steve... although i will feel weird walking into the store for that & not the 360.. hehe

What's up w/ me? I have a Green/White Scrimmage tonight w/ my 6th/7th grade teams. Should be a fun affair. I'm not exactly sure what is giong to come of this coaching gig, as we only have 7 players, and one of them is getting ready to move :y4: Oh well, that's life in a small county I guess.

I'm anxiously awaiting tomorrow, as I'm going to get up early, get to Lexington, purchase my 360 games, pick up my 360 ( I just hope the UPS man isn't running late tomorrow), and come home and play some Live & 2K6, as well as a little Madden). Should be a good day welcoming in the Next Generation of Gaming.

Other than that, there isn't a whole lot of stuff going on w/ me. Trying to figure out how I can save enough for a new LCD HD TV...

What's up w/ you?

I'm still recovering from the Flu. It's a terrible feeling when you struggle to get out of your own bed because you feel so tired.

As for the weekend, I'm going to the CFL Western Final. It's my Lions vs. the Esks. I'm hoping the Lions pull through because the Grey Cup is also in Vancouver. The last time a team made it to the Grey Cup while hosting it was 1994. I was at that game and the Lions won the Cup on a last second FG. It was the only Canada vs. US Grey Cup with BC playing Baltimore.

I'm also craving all you can eat Japanese right now

Well, Nebraska's first regular season game is tonight...should be fun...Ya know...Nebraska has one of the loudest student sections in the Big XII conference. I'm seriously thinking about skipping my last class today...really don't want to go to it. I really need to get caught up on my cheifs franchise on my PSP. So I think im just going to email my teacher and tell him im sick and ask him if I can come in some other time to make-up the work.

Whatchu' talkin' bout "IF" boyyyyyyyyy. The Stones will come out undefeated and come back home at 9-0 baby!

If the Boys have a letdown, this is the prime weekend for it.

Where you been bro? Yeah, I should be posting more updates over the weekend, so keep that in mind.

I'll be renting my fair share of games, 60 a pop is unreal. They gotta come down eventually tho.

LOL, maybe Clay will get pancaked by some other lady at the airport and have to watch the game elsewhere.
