OH BABY! You know what's up! Wow, just WOW. Are you serious? After almost turning the TV off SEVERAL times last night during the Eagles vs. Cowboys game, I stuck it out. I had absolutely, not gonna lie, absolutely NO faith or confidence in the team when it was down 20-7. The Boys looked flat the entire game, even when they scored to make it interesting at 20-14, I still thought it was over. The way the Eagles were running the ball, it was OVER. Well, on 2nd down when RW picked off the pass and went to the house, I was in shock, I couldn't believe what I just saw. Are you kidding me? They are PASSING the ball after they've been running it down our throats? Still, even AFTER the pick, the Eagles had PLENTY of time to get into FG range. When the pass was dropped by Reggie Brown (I think it was him), I nearly crapped my pants. I thought he had it and Akers was going to bury us again. Seriously, even when Akers lined up for a 61 yarder, I thought he was going to nail it. Did you know that FG kickers are 58 of 62 against the Boys since Parcells took over? That is absolutely unbelievable, but it's true. When teams kick FG's against the Boys, it's almost automatic. Anyways, I'm still in shock over the game last night and couldn't believe I actually fell asleep. The game is 60 minutes, as the Boys found out against the Deadskins earlier this year. I'm so happy that they came out on top last night, but I'm not gonna lie, I thought they were DONE! Unreal!

I didn't do much else at all yesterday, except buy some bowflex select-tech dumbbells. These things ROCK! No more swapping weights around, etc. I just dial up the weight and I'm done. It's such a time saver! Now if they can come up with the same type of device for the bench, I'd be stoked!

In other news...
Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!
No birthday's today.

Enough about me, what's up with you? How bout' dem Cowboys!

Steve, no more T.O. The Eagles suck this year. The thing is they're not good enough to play. The Cowboys come back to score a couple of touchdowns or FG. I cannot choose Eagles for SBXL this year, maybe next year or so. Was the Cowboys' comeback little frustrating?

It's the most wonderful time of the year......

It's a great week to be a sports geek here in Detroit. This weekend will either be heaven or hell. I try not to have a lot of hate in my life, but there are about four teams in sports that I absolutely hate. And, this weekend, we got two of them...

The Lions go to Dallas to take on the Cowboys! GOD I HATE THE COWBOYS!! Wait...that's not fair... I hate the Cowboy's fans. I'm pretty indifferent to the team itself. The Lions are 3-1 outside of the North and here's hoping that the Cowboys have a let down coming off of yesterdays win.

And, of course, I have a special place of hate in my soul for The Ohio State Buckeyes. If MSU can find a way to beat Penn State, the Wolverines and Buckeyes will be playing for the Big Ten's spot in the BCS....as it should be every year. The Big House should be rocking (as much as it ever rocks...lame *** Alums)! Can't wait!!!

I'm off to Vegas tomorrow for a three day business trip. The only way to ruin a trip to Vegas is by hanging the word "business" in front of it. There's a big comedy festival going on there starting Thursday. I'm hoping to catch one of the shows while I'm out there. Plus, I can lay a little scratch on my Undefeated Pistons to win the NBA title.

I did something to my elbow at the gym yesterday. I don't think it's torn, but it burns like it is. Hopefully a little ice and rest will fix it. I probably won't go to the gym in Vegas, so that will give it some time. A men's over 30 b-ball league fires up at the YMCA in a few weeks, and I'm hoping to have it healthy by then.

What's up with you?

Clay, we need some sort of bet, because my hatred of scUM is pretty deep as well.

Not much here today, snow coming tonight in Cleveland. One week from this very moment, I won't be on OS, I'll be on my 360, in my PJ's, in my chair, playing gaming goodness. It'll be like Xmas to me!! I'm actually hoping it's awful weather for both Tuesday and Wednesday so there's no reason for me to do anything else.

WWE Raw was quite depressing last night with the tribute show to Eddy Guerrero. Very sad stuff.

I'd be in on some bet on the game...tOSUcks and I don't really get along

Raw was pretty emotional, makes us remember that there's more to life.

Giving blood this evening, so that should be an interesting event. I have no problems with needles, IV's, pain, etc (hell, i was awake when I had my 4 wisdom teeth pulled, and could feel them digging). However, I've got a mental block with giving blood that triggers a panic attack. Gonna drink tons of gatorade, eat a meal 4 hours beforehand, and try and relax. I have no idea why I get that panic attack, but hopefully I can control it (giving blood with a group of people, so rather keep my pride).

Still, giving blood's an important thing, and everyone should do it!

Other than that, not much going on today, and I'll give updates on whether or not I passed out (5-1 odds say I do right now).

Anyways, what's up with you?

I don't think the Eagles suck, they just didn't close out. The Eagles are a lot worse w/o D-Mac, they can live w/o T.O. They've been to the NFC Championship 3 times in a row w/o T.O. Was the Cowboys' comeback frustrating? HELL NO! I'm still giddy about it.

Don't worry Clay, the Boys will be ready. Don't hate me. I just hope the Boys don't overlook the Lions and think ahead to the Turkey Day Broncos game.

Who's the big star at the comedy festival? Go Stones! Hopefully they don't have to win it at the last second against the C's tonite.

Cool, another bball season eh? Man, I wish I had the time for one of those leagues. Good luck healing the elbow, when did it act up? What did you do?

Snow already huh? It's still in the 60's here.

They did a tribute show huh? I haven't watched wrestling in ages, did they do it professionally? I mean how did they handle that show?

LOL, never had issues passing out when giving blood, but I have a TON of friends that do. It's actually kind of funny tho. They go in all macho and go out a little baby.

What ever came of that sport you tried for the first time the other night? I forget what you called it.

It's Cleveland, we get snow 9 months a year.

Yeah, they actually did it very tasteful and it was a good 2 hours. Emotional seeing wrestlers who are bigger than life cry when giving their memories or last goodbyes.

featherbowling...it was a lot of fun with the group, but it's a strange game. Basically you roll this wooden disc down a bumpy dirt floor, trying to stop it closest to a feather planted in the floor. I'd equate it somewhat like curling in that regard. More fun was the group than the game, but the athlete in me was trying to figure out how to best roll the thing.

About giving blood, adding intrigue is the fact the girl i'm starting to date is going, and she's most likely getting pictures if I pass out She's cool like that. I've got a bunch of tips to help me not pass out, so hopefully I can make it through.

LOL, that's called shuffleboard. Maybe it's a Michigan thing. Except in Ohio, we have real boards and lines to score on.

Should be fun. Lions/Cowboys have always been faves of mine. I wish they played every year.

The comedy festival is having Dave Chappelle, Jon Stewart, George Lopez, Dave Attell, a show that is being taped for TBS, and Jerry Seinfeld is going to be doing something. Not sure if I'll catch one, but could be fun.

The elbow thing flared up yesterday lifting. Feels decent this morning. Who knows. It's not my shooting elbow, but it is my Rick Mahorn, clear the lane, elbow....
